I bought my 2011 with 108k on it. Have 131 now. Had a wiper arm I had to replace.

Been looking at a 2016 dbl cab for sale with 120k and it’s priced at 28k im not sure if this is too expensive or not.

it’s at the dealership now getting work done on it, front strut/shock replaced, serpentine belt replaced, lower control arms replaced. I’m just weary about buying this truck if it’s needing all this work done to it. I sold my 2020 TRD off road Tacoma to get into a tundra so I’m looking at the moment, everything used is priced so high and I’m not interested in new gen of tundra.

The first two wouldn’t bother me - but seems odd for a truck that wasn’t beat on to need LCA replacements.

Apparently there was some rust around them that’s why they are switching out. This truck lived its life in the Oregon coast. Makes me rethink everything

No way I’m spending almost $30k on a vehicle that is having components replaced due to corrosion.

    Or $20k or $15k.

For pricing reference, I bought my 2019 double cab limited for $32k and it had just over 100k miles on it, and it had all highway miles on it. I think you can find a better price elsewhere.

Check FL AL and the Carolinas they’re cheap compared to other areas. Texas as well

just bought my 2016 with 116k miles but I don't consider that "high miles" more like just broken in good.

What did you pay for that? I’m actually about to go look at a 2017 with 107k miles for 26k. TRD off road package double cab.

25K, it's a limited with the premium and TRD packages, looks showroom new just bought it this past weekend, clean carfax, one owner, meticulously maintained ... I was hoping to get a bit lower but it checked all the boxes and seemed like I'd kick myself for passing it up trying to save another grand and I'm the type who keeps vehicles for a long, long time so paying a tad more than I'd thought I would disappears in the length of ownership

Yeah I haven't had it a week and every time I get in it I'm convinced I knocked it out the park.

Now if it will be as stone cold reliable and trouble free as my '03 Tundra was.... it bothered me to see it drive away with it's new owner yesterday but it did go to a good home.

I’m 97k miles in and have done brake pads and an alternator that still worked fine but had squeaky bearings.

My '03 never had a part failure, just timing belt at 90k and consumables like batteries, tires, brakes. My wife drives a 07 4Runner that's only had an alternator fail, so aside from routine maintenance like timing belts they've been amazing.

Not who you replied to, but I purchased my 2017 with 121k, ARE cap, and aftermarket suspension for 26k last year around this time. I'll be hitting 135k this in a week or two.

What you are looking at there is a decent deal I think.

Yeah most of these miles being stated are not high mileage at all.

Thank you! Comes with a tonneau cover which I’m probably going to sell honestly, canopy is what I have in mind of some sort, had the soft topper on my Tacoma. I just don’t think they look good on full sized trucks, we will see.

sold my 2020 Tacoma last week and made a nice little profit. Sad to see it go honestly but I just needed the extra cab space. I thought about crewmax but I told myself 2 things after selling the Tacoma, I’d never have a 5ft bed again and I’d never own another black vehicle.

Agreed on every single point! I needed more cab space but not so much that I was willing to give up bed space, particularly since I'm planning to put a shell on the back for solo camping.

You did great. I bought my 2017 quicksand double cab 11months ago for $30k with 102k miles on it. One owner also, but it’s an SR5 with no TRD package. I think I overpaid but I still don’t see any deals like yours around, I’m envious lol

I had to search far and wide, this one came from eastern Washington. I live west of the cascades in Washington state and all the tundras around here were expensive. Definitely feel like I got a good deal. 102k miles if well maintained is not bad at all. Unfortunately these trucks just demand a higher price tag but I’m willing to pay it over a used ford or Chevy.
