    So I bought a 97 Chevy brand new back in 97 transmission started acting up after 3 years of ownership. Bought a brand new 2001 crew cab powerstroke diesel in 2001. It was a good truck but it had an issue even though small was still an issue. I've never owned a Dodge thank God

    I don’t know. Some of the things about the Tundra do suck. The headlights on pre 18 do suck, the Entune does suck. It is what it is. The Tundra is not a perfect vehicle but it is at the top of its class IMO and that’s why I bought it.
    And I completely get it if you are a senior forum member and have seen the same question a thousand times and wish guys would search more. I am guilty of that myself but you don’t have to click on a topic if it has no interest to you.
    New guys come here for your expertise and to get some info. As they hang out longer they will get in the flow of things and realize searching is a quick way to get their answers. The more Tundras owners on this site that share things the better.
    I’m pretty confident Alamaboy that not everything that you say would always be construed as “positive”.
    Anyway, whatever..
