Yes sir, that was my boy! I loved that truck. 25 yrs I had him. First accident, and you know that old boy started up like a top. No damage to the underbody. Or under the hood. The back window was completely intact.

Well, I better get my ass outside and get to working again on my truck. It's great talking with ya. Talk with ya later. And, hey.....keep smiling man. It could be worse, you could be living in a state where it's cold one day, hot the next, humid and raining after that, then down to 32 that night it's a bitch, let me tell ya. :angrygirl:

Thank you. That was my '93 Boudreaux. 25 wonderful years. He did his job while I was flipping down that enbankment. Man, I'd take him back in a heartbeat. I'm not one that cries, but I did when I was told he was totaled. I was told by a friend, who's a cop that it's a miracle I didn't have more injuries or worse. Two fractures at C5 and minor cuts and bruises head and legs.

Thank you, so am I. For almost being 49, I don't need that happening. One of my uncle's asked if I was practicing for the Daytona 500? HA!

Ha! Ha! I should have. I didn't think about her. Hey, I didn't need all the protective gear they wear, and I doubt they would be going off a 15+' enbankment. Lol . I got a hard head, man. Lol

That's pretty good. Holding up well for you. I might have to get some. I just love the current brightness of my headlights right now and the adjustability of them from in the cab

They do the same thing up here in mountains of CO, in kansas city it was like you were at the beach this time of year! Those guys put salt down before the snow and usually only get 1/2 in of snow or would turn into rain!

@Thawkfishman don't know how bad crushed red Rock is? But, here in MS we have to deal with gravel trucks EVERY day, running up and down the interstate. They are supposed to cover their load, but they don't. When those damn rocks hit your windshield and vehicle, they can do some serious damage! Insurance won't pay for them. I've had to get my windshield replaced once before because of those damn trucks racing each other up the interstate .

Yep, had to get on to the wife about tailgating dump trucks, freakin sandblast the front of the car. When I used to ride bikes it would blast the crap out of the visor!

@Thawkfishman believe me, it's like playing dodge ball on the interstate with those gravel trucks. I wait till some other poor bastard gets in the passing lane, then I get in back of them to TRY and avoid getting the sand and rock on my truck. but sometimes it doesn't work.
