Always been a Silver color vehicle fan but have switched to the Stormtrooper colors. Aside from steps being installed this weekend, I think I’m done with exterior mods.

Any thought of putting the flaps back on or filling in these holes and painting?

Anyone here done black bumper caps, grill surround and hood bulge on their super white trucks ? I’ve seen it on sand and cement and think it looks sick. Wondering what it looks like on our whites.

After seeing this I am seriously considering removing my mud flaps and side steps... great looking truck!

Mud flaps are still there behind the front tires. You can cap off the screws but it would be a waste in my opinion.

3/2 Readylift, 20x9 +20mm offset, 33x12.5x20 Toyo RT. Remove small front bumper flap. No rubbing. Did a lot of looking to make sure I didn’t have to do any mods or cutting since it’s a daily driver.

I notice you have the TRD package but steel wheels. Are those your winter set up?

    Yes.

I have a set of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2's mounted on steel wheels. I could have bought a nice set of alloys for the winter, but, well, I wasn't willing to spend the extra $800-$1000CAD that it would have cost over the steelies. I'm a cheap bastard.

With winter tires, the truck is a complete beast in the snow and on ice. Most people run All-Terrain tires (like Duratracs or KOII's) year-round on their trucks, and while all-terrain tires are beastmode in deep snow, they are severely lacking on ice and other slippery road surfaces. A dedicated winter tire like a Blizzak or an X-Ice is not only great in deep snow, but they work a lot better on ice, too, due to their special tire compound. I decided that rather than spend money on nice wheels, I'd buy a really good set of winter tires instead, and cheap out on the wheels for 4-5 months of the year.

It routinely hits -30F where I live, and all-season and all-terrain tires just turn into hockey pucks at that temperature. So, while my truck with its smaller tires and steelies may not look as bad-ass as the truck with big All-Terrain tires and nice rims, I can assure you I have heaps more traction in all conditions throughout the winter.

^^I can tell by the YouTube clips of carnage whenever the Southern US gets a quarter-inch of snow.

Yes, I also love that camper top. I'd love to get one, but they're not cheap!
