ok so here is the question? I just hit the 1 year mark on my LE and I have just short of 30K. I went in to have the 30K oil change and I also bought new rubber cause the falken suck...
as I was driving home 60 miles the truck was fish biting and felt like it was snagging up hills and losing power. I had to drive another 250 round trip and as soon as my wife got into the truck and I started it she said what's wrong with the truck. at a stop light the truck would shake till the hybrid kicked in. again up hills losing power and fish biting. called the dealership and he said bring it back down in the morning. they looked over it and saw that everything was plugged in. he drove it and could feel the fish biting and snagging. so I dropped it off on the Monday morning of the 28th of April funny enough the day I bought it in 24. when I pulled into the garage I cut it off and then started it back to roll up the window and that's when the white smoke started to poor out like a 20s steam engine, I have been in a rental ever since. still no word. anyone have this problem or know what it might be. I'm still waiting

Hadn’t heard the term fish biting before - that’s a new one to me but makes sense after a google search. Sorry to hear about your truck! I love to be my service advisor’s worst nightmare and call almost everyday after 4-5 business days or every day after the promised delivery date (I’ve had horrible luck with parts being on back order). I’d call for an update first thing tomorrow. The smoke thing kinda sounds like a head gasket but that’d be the first time I’ve personally seen anything about head gaskets going bad on a third gen. If they also did a rear diff fluid change, could be a bad diff, which has been a somewhat common problem. Best of luck!

I saw this title and thought: “they picked the new Pope already?”
