I’m curious which accessories did people get, wished they got or regretted getting.

For example I’ve heard people regret not getting remote tail gate lock.

Not the factory tonneau cover. I replaced it after a few thousand miles. It was causing the plastic bed cap to warp. I’ve seen a few 2016+ with the factory cover have warped plastic bed rail caps. It leaked and I had to take it off to have full access to the bed. I replaced it with a BakFlip MX4.

Was glad I got the TRD dual exhaust and TRD sway bars.

Got the spray-in bed liner. Would have been one of the first things I did anyways, so a no brainer for me, plus it says Tundra on the front wall which I thought was cool.
Didn't get the steps, not really a fan of the tube style.
Declined anything else they offered since most aftermarket stuff is cheaper or better, or both.
Although, now that you mention it, the tailgate pop n lock would have been handy.

None. I was able to get a Line-X spray in bed liner for less money than Toyota wanted for theirs. I was all ready to buy the Toyota one but my service manager never bothered to call me back to tell me which brand it actually was. I guess they didn't want my business that badly.

If I was in and out of my truck more often on a day to day basis, a power locking tailgate might be nice but that would have also driven up the cost of my canopy. I just leave it open when I'm at the lake anyway.

I have the tailgate lock, kind of a pain in the ass at times, as I don't have cover over my bed. Walking up to the truck to put stuff in the bed, have to unlock the truck to open the gate. PITA

Super glad I got the LED headlamps and fog lamps, well worth the upgrade there.

Wish I would have gotten the TRD skid plates, wouldn't need to swap out something better now.

    Wish I had a transmission cooler. <EG>
