Mine were all the older Open country AT2's so Hopefully the AT3's will be night and day better on wet pavement then the open country AT2s were.
Those Toyo's I had were the worst on wet pavement I had ever had, these were new tires I had them on 3 vehicles and ended up pulling them off on all 3 vehicles with less then 10K miles on the tires for that reason.
I think Toyo actually is the parent company that makes Nitto, so I know they can make a good tire.

Yes parent company to Nitto. Per Toyo's website in the AT3 description "With a strong focus on wet performance". I think we will be putting a set on my wife's new 4runner in a couple of weeks. Even though E rated is overkill for the 4runner I have read too many bad wet road reviews on the KO2, which comes in C rated, plus these Ozark rocky roads will cut a tire pretty quick so I'm good with loosing a couple of MPG for confidence. May order the 4runner TRD PRO wheels which are lighter than her Off Road wheels to compensate.
