    Folks,

I believe I have the factory tow package. She's got a bolt on hitch and a 7-way plug with wiring that appears factory. I can't imagine it being an add-on. It's just too well fitted.

The hitch has a sticker with part number 51908-0C030 which is a Toyota part number. Pic attached.

I've got the side panel off in the footwell and nothing looks like a plug for a brake controller. What color is it? Is it somewhere else?

I'm looking at the eTrailer.com site for brake controllers for an '07, and there's a picture of the plug-in harness, but no actual installation instructions specifically for my truck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a white 5 pin connector in the driver footwell area. If ya find a 5 pin connector with the colors shown below, you've hit paydirt.

They did not make finding mine on a 04 Tundra very easy but the EWD for your 07 shows it in the same place as mine. It's not hidden like needle in hay stack but mine was not odvious. Had to get close and personal with wire harness bundle.

    Interesting.

I had an '04 Tundra (totaled, unfortunately) and it was so obvious which was the plug--there was a big, white plug with nothing connected to it. I can't find a plug with nothing already connected to it on the Sequoia. I'm looking in the same spot as your Tundra.

Jeez, there's only one white connector that I can easily get to. Top of the pic on the left. It does have five wires, but they're not the same colors, and the connector is not the same shape. I suppose I need to order the brake controller kit with the harness, and see where (if) it fits.

I'm having one of those days where nothing is going as planned.

Be safe and have a great weekend,

Your 07 Seq is definitely very similar to my 04 Tun. The blue highlighted O5 connector is my brake controller plugin.
Yours is stuffed up in the area of that bigger white connector but not easily found.
    Good luck and TGIF.

Not sure on 2nd gens or Sequoias but 2.5 gens were prewired with a plug behind this panel. And I think 2014’s were on the same panel but on the left side of the steering wheel.

edit- Just remembered a 2007 Sequoia is a first gen. :(

Am I correct in assuming I have the factory tow package? I just want to put that question to bed.
