Near Salida Colorado. Picked it up from the dealer and havent even taken it home until later that night

 

Got lost in the mountains outside Boise last weekend with the fam. Had to use crawl control and mts to get out of a sandy washout with the trailer and walked out easily!

 

17x9 +12 with 35’s correct?
No rub anywhere
Even considering going to 37’s?

 

No rub after pinning back the fender liner up front and moving the rear splash guard arm back. Would love 37’s but already had these 35’s and didn’t want to hit the mpg and acceleration of 37’s. In a perfect world I’d have a set of light 34’s on factory wheels and set of 37’s for fun on these wheels.

 

Got home tonight from leading a group from Bull River Montana to Whiskey Rock Bay ID, on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Not too hard but fun!

 

We did Section 7 of the Idaho Backroad Discovery Route. Pretty fun

What were you doing tackling washes in your unit? You can’t take a Chevy on dirt!

 

Eagle Lakes at Tahoe National Forest

 

Did you get any water intrusion or were you able to stay behind the bow wave?

 

That Chevy Tahoe has earned my respect. She has gotten me thru some of the most inhospitable weather and terrain. A true beast, never skipping a beat. She’s fitted with some Copper Discover AT3 and Rancho shocks.
For my work we have to traverse various terrain in the dessert or mountains.

No water got in. I also checked the air filter boxes right away and they were completely dry

 

Not sure the names of the trails but we ended up not crossing the river going home since the water level got higher. Ended up going through some really rocky uphill terrain.

 

Seaside Oregon was pretty cool

 

I like your truck bed set up. I've been looking for a split truck bed slide like what you have. What brand is it?

 

It’s the PapaDave brand of half Bedslide. I made it, it can be installed or removed in 1 minute and I only lose 1.25” of height under the tonneau cover.

Are you running upgraded springs or airbags?

 

both. Dobinson 837s and air lift 5000 ultimates with daystar cradles. Handles great!

 

Flathead River just north of Polebridge MT. The other side of the river is Glacier National Park
Over 300 dirt miles going there and back from North Idaho all on dirt. Fun weekend!

 

Not as crazy as some of the stuff on here but we did the fire road up Mt Lemmon a couple weekends ago.
