I think we may have Apple Music with our latest verizon venture. Family full of iPhones here too. $15 or $16/mo for Spotify for the whole fam. unlimited whatever their collection is. I should look into what the Apple Music apple One whatever we have to see if we get some more storage too. But I probably won't, I dont need any more plans or passwords or apps or other things to manage / deal with.

XM in my wife's ES but I'm not in the truck enough to justify the additional cost for it. I cancel the XM subscription each year before expiration and resub when they call me 3 months later with the new subscriber promo price. I hate those stupid games but feel like a sucker if I don't play.

My Moto was easy to load my MP3 library but my Pixel 7 not so much. I might not get another Pixel for that reason. I'm using Amazon for the Pixel now since it's included with my Prime subscription but it's quirky. It has just OK customized stations.

I use Apple Music and have Sirius XM in my truck. I also have the Sirius XM app but I don't use that very much. I was going to cancel the Sirius XM since I didn't feel it was worth the cost and when I called them they lowered the price to 8.99 a month for 12 months. I couldn't say no to that. Compared to the almost 30 bucks a month I was paying. I love the Apple Music, I use it daily.

I didn't feel that bad about using it.
I've been overpaying for 45s, albums, 8-tracks, and cassettes my entire life.
Although I'd say more than half my music I ripped from bought CDs, even a few songs I converted album songs to MP3..

It is funny how much music has changed.
I used to have 3 crates of LPs (down to 1 now), and still have a few file boxes of CDs, but I can now fit 10K digital songs on my phone..:eek2:

I've seen DJs use youtube to mp3 convert the music/audio vids many times. Many free websites do that.

I’m a huge music nerd and have thousands of cd’s that I’ve purchased and made on my own (live music bootlegs.) I never thought I’d be into the streaming scene, but it’s just too convenient. I have all of my music ripped to my phone, so I can still listen to bootlegs I have it Neil Young since he’s no longer on Spotify. But my main source is Spotify with Nugs being a close second. For anyone who is into jam bands, Nugs is a must.
