That turned out clean Sean, subtle but compliments your trucks color well. Did you spray the lug nuts, how would they hold up to a lug wrench? My wheels are powered coated, but Ive wanted to experiment with a bronze color, would it just peel off if I didn't like it?

Same as others, had OEM wheels powder coated "textured black" to match the side steps about $65 per wheel.

I did spray the lugs and I assume when I rotate my tires the dip will peel off them when i put a socket on them.
Supposedly the stuff peels off pretty easily, the key is to have a lot of coats, at least 7 from what I read. The thicker it is, the easier it is to peel. They also sell a dip dissolver that supposedly works well but sounds mess, spray on and brush or power wash off.

Did you do a step by step on your wheel project? I would need to degrease my wheels big time. What did you prep with.

Thinking of going the powder coat way. For those that have done it, how does it hold up? Chipping or flaking?

    none yet
Mine is tough as nails so far. BTW a paint shop told me that the PC would be much better if the wheel is sand blasted cleaned not solvent cleaned. Mine were sand blasted.

I'm sure that will look great, OP.

I'm going to say something different, just for anyone else who might be in the same situation. With a super clean truck like yours already all blacked out, I'd chrome a set of factory wheels. The contrast would pop. Wheels would be stock and custom at the same time. Just a suggestion for anyone looking for ideas.

Are these available online, or did you have them painted / coated?

Thank you sir! Exhaust is the next mod on my list, just trying to figure out which one to go with. The dual tip looks pretty slick on your truck!!

I paid $375 for all 4 which included sand blasting. But I got a hookup.

Cheapest I found around my area outside Houston was 200 a wheel. So for 200 for four sounds good to me.
