I have an issue with my 16 CM and I wanted to see if anybody has the same issue. The problem is the black paint in the wheel wells comes off when I clean with a brush or even when I run my finger on it. Anybody encounter this?

Are you referring to the frame? Can you post pics? The wheel well liners are plastic in nature. I just use a good all purpose cleaner, a little scrubbing/Rinse, and then hit them with some Aero space 303 to protect them. Looks brand new.

If you are referring to the front wells, mine has flaked a little bit but not much. Are you scrubbing too hard? Can you describe you cleaning method?

I am referring to the frame portion in the wheel well. I use the same method, all purpose cleaner, brush (not hard) and rinse. The paint even comes off if I run my finger across it. I addressed this with my dealer and I'm waiting for their response. When I talked to the dealer, I rubbed my finger on the same portion of a tundra in the showroom and sure enough black paint was on my finger.

Not sure what's going on. I went out to mine and agitated the front wells and did have anything come off. I can see where a little has come off but not much. I've had mine a year and a half now through to winters.
Let us know what the dealer says please. Where are you located?

It comes off the frame if I brush it and will come off the rubber like coating if I drag a finger across. Did the same thing with a truck in the dealers showroom.

I use a soft bristle brush on mine with no issues. Granted, over time, the wear and tear will take its toll.

    We'll stay tuned...
