Thinking about adding wheel spacers when I get new tires. I want a little better stance without having to lift the truck. Nothing crazy....maybe 1.25 or 1.5. Can someone recomend some and are there any negetive side effects of adding spacers?

This is something I wouldn’t cheap out on, not saying you are but just throwing that out there lol. I was running 1.5” bora spacers on mine with no problems. Bora and spidertrax are the only ones I’d buy

Completely agree about not going cheap....wheels coming off at 70mph is not my idea of an upgrade:rofl:. Thats why I am asking. I saw spidertrax on a thread yesterday and see Bora mentioned in an earlier thread If I keep the same tire size as I have now are there any issues to look out for? Currently runnig 275 55 20

I can’t say for sure as I’ve never had that wheel setup but imo you shouldn’t see any rubbing, very minimal if you do. Other than that there won’t be any issues.

Have heard to make sure they are "hub centric", believe it insures they stay centered.

Boras will be made to order, expect a 3/4 week wait. Spidertrax can be found in stock all over but only 1.25”

I’d honestly do it myself in fear of someone else messing up lol. I did one drop of blue loctite on the lug nuts that hold the spacers. If you don’t you’d have to pull the wheels off at 500 miles and retorque them.

I would stick with Spider or Bora like @LEKS said. I've had Spider trax on my truck for about 15k w/o issue.

Spidertrax or Bora are top quality. I have Bora 1.75 personally. Made sure to add red thread locker on the bolts that go into the hub. Also torque and check the torque every tire rotation.

    No problems

1.25” Spidertrax no question. I had them for 5 years with no issue.

If you're not in a huge hurry they pop up for sale on here from time to time.

I put up a WTB ad in the wheels/tires section and had a set in a couple of days. Saved some good $$$ vs buying new. They were SpiderTrax.

    Too many to list.....
I had 1.25 Spydertrax as well. No issues. Only downside is that they are blue. Bora come black. Much less noticeable depending on what wheel you are running...... Just a thought ;)

I have Bora's 1.25 on mine. I do get rubbing when I crank the wheel in reverse, but I have an XSP and the wheel offset is like -50 I think. Tire size is 285-55-20.

Some shops won't touch spacers and others will, you just need ask beforehand.

G2 also makes a good hub centric spacers. I ran those on 2 jeeps without

Thanks guys for the feedback and the ToyTec discount tip! I got the Nitto G2's put on yesterday in the same stock size as the originals and they look pretty good just as they are. I think I am going to hold up right now but still thinking about it.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for wheel spacers? Maybe 1" I am thinking. 2011 Base Model 5.7. I have 275/70/18 on it but want to push the wheels out a little more.

Bora or Spider Trax. Be sure you get hub and wheel centric. The most common is 1.25" I ran Spider Trax for a while.

Hey gang! So i need wheel spacers. Coworker slapped on some to get me by. They are not hub centric though. Wondering what you all have used & had good luck with. Looking for 1.25".
