    Ordered my wife a new jig rod and reel (like we really need one). Shimano Aldebaran 50 MGL and G. Loomis NRX 853c. She's been working hard lately and her birthday is coming up soon. The whole combo weighs less than most of my reels alone.

    The Rancher 455? I do too - with a 24” bar. It fires up every use with ease and runs like a raped ape - bucked many of trees with her :)

    eta - never mind, 455 is newer model - and prob not as good lol

    That’s what I should’ve done on these LOL
    During my AR building days, I’d call UPS and have them hold them for pickup (few times a week). I’m getting older and my energy level just isn’t the same as it was in 2006 lol.
