Rock lights are in. Suprised that these are metal housings. Just confused why these things need double hot wire.

It looks like there are two bulbs in each one. Even though they're LED's (or at they appear to be), they probably pull a lot of current and the double hot wires keep the wiring from over heating. Do they list an amp rating, and what gauge wire do they recommend?

I would say it has 2 power wires, one to the battery and one to an ignition powered, to prevent the lights from running when the key is not in the on positions. The control box may have an internal relay.

Scored a vintage “barn find” 1986 61cm Schwinn Peloton, scooped up for a song, weighs 20lbs. Ridden maybe 10 times. Excellent condition for a 32 year old bicycle. I installed new tires, a tune up scheduled, bearings greased, and then ride!

sweet. i love old steel frames. that was my first race bike. red frame with shimano sante groupset.

that was the last road bike i had with shimano on it. been a campy snob ever since.

i've been considering putting together an oxy/propane brazing setup and build myself a town cruiser or two.

ahh, been in that situation, own a 1950's home in FL...it's semi dicey, but definitely possible. had to tie two 120's together for a well pump, just killed power to the whole house for a few. I'm a EE but also a ex pool boy so i treated it like a lab experiment.
