I am a big Aimpoint fan but didn't want to spend too much for a spare AR I only use for the range. After some research I recently purchased a Vortex Sparc AR optic.

I must say I got it zero'd super fast and I'm impressed with it for the range. The only downside are the "flip up" lens covers. They are more like "peel and press" covers, as you need to press them together to keep them out of the way. The design is fine for the range, horrible for anyone using it in case it hits the fan and need to be ready in a hurry. Aimpoint's true "flip up covers" are much better especially with a clear front cover like the PRO. If that is my only gripe for half the price of a PRO, I'm still happy.

Have this mounted on my ar. For the price, this red dot is top notch. I bought it on sale for 160

Agreed, especially for that price. I paid $200 at my local gun shop, but the gun shop rocks so much I'm not even upset haha.

Just ordered the RCI offroad Tranny/Transfer Case Skid plate and the Fuel Tank skid, both in Aluminum. They don't list the 38 gallon FT skid in Aluminum on their site so you need to call them to order it. The FT skid will fit fine but the TT skid is going to be modified to work with my Pro Comp lift kit.

You will not be disappointed. Just be careful on all the plastic in the way when you mount them. It's very thin.

When I said bumper, I meant this. Going to mount left and right of the light bar. Most likely moving the light bar up to the middle bar,we will see. 20170712_142345.jpg

You don't happen to be LEO/Military/Fire/EMS are you?

For those who don't know....Vortex has a running discount for any of the above. Can't discuss actual numbers, but it's nice.

Good looking out, thanks brother! It was a last minute thing and I wanted it that day, so I went with my local gun shop as they had it in stock. They have done quite a bit for me over the years so I guess it evens out!

Does it have to be truck related? I purchased 3 Radeon RX Vega 64 Black cards this morning. Got them at MSRP first thing in the morning, within a couple hours they were selling for double that ($499 --> $999).

Keeping 1 selling 2. I basically made $1500 and got a free amazing GPU out of it.

Don't worry - I know most of you don't know or care what this is. Substitute "Radeon RX Vega 64" with anything else but keep the numbers the same. Awesome, no?

Working on my Ethereum mining rig. Will put that $1500 toward some RX 570 cards. The meat and potatoes of the rig is already in my possession.

    Yes. I am a nerd.

It's computer parts... There are basically two companies that make video cards, one has been hyping of the release of this new series of cards for a few months now. Finally came out this morning.

Lately there has been a shortage of video cards on the market because people who mine have been snatching them all up. I fortunately had some serious hardware prior to the rush and have been able to turn it into a profitable, though certainly not uniquely sustainable, side project.

They have been for months because of the Ethereum gold rush. I'm just capitalizing off of the world around me.

Don't hate the player, hate the game!

I bet if you wait for the market to settle down the 1070 will come down in price to compete with the $399 RX Vega 56 which drops Aug 28.
