What's your latest purchase?

I need to fix the crank handle on my tent trailer and build a spark screen for our firepit. My dad needs the bumper on his travel trailer repaired and a portage cart for his canoe built.

I'm sure there will be many more projects as well. Lol

I've been wanting a machoine for years. I'm a welder by trade, but got off the tools 4 years ago. Since I'm not in the shop with access to their machines, alot of my projects have been all hold. I'm stoked to be able to get them done now.

 

Took advantage of Amerigas and swapped an expired tank for a new one. I only feel mildly guilty about it. I figure it ALMOST makes up for all the tanks Ive got that were only 2/3 of the way full.

 

The addiction has begun lol. We bought 3 sets of the curtain lights last week. Now I wish I could find a power adapter and controller so that I can put my extra strands on the shed. Govee doesn't sell them separately.

 

Curtain lights you say......Yeah, addicted.

 

21, 22, 23, and 24mm short 1/2" drive sockets
22mm box wrench and ratcheting box wrench
All because I got one corner half pulled apart to do coilovers and UCAs to discover I didn't have the fucking wrenches I needed to get the long bolt out.

 

Which ones are needed for the UCA bolt? I have long sockets in all those sizes but no shorties.

One instruction I have says 21mm, but I’m 99% sure it’s 22mm on my truck based on what I was able to test fit using some SAE wrenches. Don’t know if they made a rolling change to the head size or the Icon info is just wrong.

On the driver side, the nut has some hard lines blocking getting a socket on it, and the bolt head is right next to a main electrical harness and close to the front fender - no way to really get at it with a deep socket from the wheel well and from the engine bay is pretty tight too. So I’m equipped to get at it with a short socket or a ratcheting wrench on one end and a wrench on the other.

 

Use the one I posted above.

 

Love the gear wrench stuff. I have a whole set of these but with the opened end on one side and the ratcheting on the other.

 

I’m heading back to the shop to try again today. Already bought the wrenches in a brick and mortar yesterday

Christmas came a lil early. Grandma made me a big ol quilt. Reindeer and Christmas trees on the inside and a patchwork on the outside with the lyrics to "you are my sunshine"

 

Nothing better than a hand-tied quilt from grandma!

 

She's been working on it for months. Told me it was for grandpa, then surprised me with it. Best gift ever

30A to 110 adaptor. No more searching for the right outlet, now I can run a household extension cord to it.

 

Much needed upgrade from my decade old pfd. Looking forward to the spring run off already. Now we just need it to not stop snowing for four months.

 

After loosing my dog of almost 12 years back in July (she was over 13 years old) I was finally ready to get a 2nd dog. Found a tri color American Bully puppy on a central TX FB group and picked her up new years day.
My boys are 3 & 6 and are loving having a puppy.
They named her Pepper, which I was really happy with as my childhood dog was named Nutmeg, my pit bull that passed was named Sage. So I seem to like naming dogs after spices.
