Thanks...it's coming out soon as I move in. Termite damage. Replacing with something similar. Really convenient to have.

Bought an Echo brush cutter along with an ecoflow powers station and air-conditioner/heater for when we go camping.

I was looking at that air conditioner, pretty cool tech.
Was looking for a solution to keep my home office cooler (too many computers/electronics) and utilize four 100w panels i have that we only use once a year when dry camping.
Trying to find something that could take 400w was going to be around 1k range...my yearly electricity bill is around 1750 so figured it was probably not worth it. I just bought a dual hose protable air conditioner from costco and only run it when my office gets warm.

I got it in a bundle and saved about 1500. Im consodering using it the same you suggest. While at home it'll be in my sons room. He has a gaming PC that serves as a heater. I was thinking of making an enclosure for the PC that vents into the attic and the attic fan circulates the air out. But in the mean time I'll just use this to cool his room and run it and the computer off the battery pack that's charged by solar panels.

yep, exactly the same thing. I relocated my media server and a gaming computer into a walk in closet and used an exhaust fan into the attic. Still gets pretty warm in the closet, but at least the entire room isn't +5deg warmer than the rest of the house.

I think it was supposed to be 97 today, so if he left it set up my guess is about 148 inside it right now.

That was my thought, but supposedly it helps keep it cool because it’s darker inside, like the shade it creates is supposed to help. Luckily I’ll be able to sleep in, and won’t need a nap later in the day inside it
