    Since I am serving in a capacity for the Department of Defense overseas, it is one less thing for me as a parent to worry about when he is thousands of miles away in the US mainland. Activities require them to travel to and from school or for him to obtain the daily necessities. He is by no means “entitled” as he has earned what I deemed necessary to accomplish his goals.

    Plus when I come out to the mainland, I have a vehicle that I can use instead of renting.
