My furnace is 60k. Tankless is 120k. Range cooktop and oven 32k. Dryer 22k. Garage heater 20k Barn heater 25k. NO BBQ. After looking into it further, I'm at 279, not 277 full tilt. The water heater will be first in line. Takagi water heaters have very good reviews, and ratings. Heater to be installed indoors, so no worry about freezing condensate line. We had a Rennai at work that we already replaced, less than 5 years. One instance, but soured my taste. I don't have 46 yrs experience, but I do have some... And I over research and analyze everything. I agree buyer beware, and never trust anyone, BUT yourself.

    Stock, for now
O just installed 2 Navien. The gas guy branched out of the 3/4” main line, installed a second stage regulator and branched out two lines into the heaters. They take 200,000 btus each. No issues. We have. 2 lb main regulator.

I cannot speak on that. Mine were a gift from my wife and she consulted with the professional chef at her work. She told him she wanted a very good set and something that would last for years to come, but yet obviously not the top of the line as we all know how crazy expensive that can get. He is partial to Japanese makers so he gave her a few suggestions and she settled on these. I have a well rounded set of 7 including the honing tool and block, and I think it came out to about $ 600.00. Wish I had a picture to include, they are beautiful.

This came in the mail today. Going to use it to extend the neg pulse to the factory arm wire in order to roll up the front two windows and close the sunroof from my remote starter remote when I lock the doors.

And @Jim LE 1301 was right. Semi-big ticket item came back in stock the day after she got her gift. Asked for approval and got a “go for it”. It’s like the stars were aligning..

Sit tight; hopefully will be here by the end of the week

Make sure to cut off the excess links that aren't used, leave 1 or 2 only as extra. If you don't you'll lose mudflaps and damage the sheet metal. My work truck has fist sized dents in the bed because it took me a couple weeks of daily use to get to a grinder and cut the excess off.

I have never used chains before but from what I've been reading seems like consensus would be the front. They are off now just wanted to see how they went on and the fit. Going to reinstall them right now and I think Im putting them on the rear. When I get some more money Ill buy another set so I can have all four chained up.

If all they're doing is to help you get going then put them on the rear. If you need help with braking or turning on downhill slopes then cross chain - one on the front, other on the opposite side rear. I've been down some crazy access roads and never thought of needing 4 chains, 2 are enough. I mostly do both on the rear, but there's the odd road that has a downhill section with a turn, and if you miss that turn it's a 100 ft+ cliff, that I'll cross chain.
