What's your latest purchase?

A 105,000 mile service on my Acura so pretty much full fluid change timing belt, timing belt tensioner, water pump all the drive belts, put new seals in the oil pump and a new front main seal while I had the timing belt off. She's got 209,000 mi on her now she should be good for another 105,000.

 

Just received these Total Chaos shackles. Going to take my 5100s up to the top and bring the back up a little to keep the stance.

 

Just bought 10 more 30 round Pmags just in case.

 

Go with the 40s... more funner. something is happening in the world today...

 

If you can find anything to fill them with I'd be shocked

No need. I stacked ammo a few years ago when it was cheap. Haven't bought any since 2019.

 

Same, although I do buy a box or so every week. I realize it's not the cheapest right now (and that's putting it lightly), but it's *available* and I can afford it, so why not.

I watch ammoseek every day! Prices are starting to come down a bit. Ammo is out there but it isn’t on the shelf.

 

My local Academy still sells at reasonable prices. Limit is 3 boxes per person. On days the trucks arrive, people start lining up outside AT 5AM for ammo. Store opens at 9am. Sometimes they run out before the people who got in line at 7am get any. Nuts.

Wonder how many of them are reselling on GB for a big profit.

But it's such a FUN problem.

 

My wife did this a month or so ago; it was a whole bunch of hunters and the like - and her. LOL They stood in line amused (the whole "Oh how cute a girl" thing) until she said "I'd like 9mm, .223/5.56, and 6.5 Creedmoor if you have any." Suddenly their faces changed - they knew she knew her stuff and meant some business.

Here's the final pic once it's all cut out glued together then rubberized. Now just need to let it gas out in my garage for about a week.
