Bought a Prius new back in 2012 for long drives. My commute is 40 miles each way 3 days a week. The Prius sits in my driveway since I bought the truck. Didn’t buy my Tundra to have it sit in the driveway. Off road or on I’d rather drive it and enjoy my drive then get good mpg. Unless it’s a tow pig never understood buying a truck as a garage queen

I travel frequently my last dd was an 08 Prius. Don’t hate took me from Key West to San Diego for 188.00 (cheaper than southwest). And since I’m on a fixed income I like to say “we ball on a budget” Been across this great nation with it 5-6 times I had a chance to go and see all kinds of places I would have never been able to afford (including Graceland). Had 300k miles with regular maintenance All while keeping hi 40’s low 50’s mpg.

My Tundra is my DD, but if gas ever gets prohibitively expensive ($5-6+ / gal) I'd get a prius, I'm probably one of the few that really likes the styling of the new one

Tundra is my daily. I drove shitty cars For a long time, it's nice to finally be proud of what I drive. I don't worry about gas I only work 8 miles from home.

Surprised how many Tundra owners aren't loyal to the brand. DD is a 2005 Corolla sport. We put about 19,000 miles a year on it, which in my opinion, necessitates the fuel mileage. The Tundra's the only one worth a pic though!

It would be interesting to know what people are paying for gas in their area. Filled up today I believe it was 2.91 a gallon. In Oregon. Let us know. I hate getting in and out of my car also. It is a Ford Focus

Grandma gave me her 98 contour. Been commuting in it for over a year. Just rolled over 100k
....but I think the transmission just went:(
This is just a representative photo. On mine I took the front wheel caps off too (+10hp)
I also rock an 03 ranger. I only drive the tundra on fridays and weekends.

I had a 98 contour while I was in college and I remember the tranny went out near 100k too... it also had a maximum speed of 100mph limiter for some reason??

Hey I have a question about the Prius. My wife's Prius 2 is 6-months old, our first hybid, and I noticed it has a normal looking battery. Since it's doesn't start like a normal car, how the heck do you know when the battery is bad? Also, it says only do an oil change every 10,000, is that right? It had 3,000 now and the oil is barely getting darker so maybe that's true.

It has 2 batteries, one regular and one big one for driving the motors. Oil changes are 10,000 because you use synthetic oil, which is typical mileage these days for synthetic, and because of the hybrid system, after 10,000 miles your engine has not really done 10,000, so it is actually conservative.

I'm a loyal Honda Accord fan (I'm on my 7th) & I never imagined owning anything but a Honda product. When it came time to try a truck I knew a Honda Ridgeline wouldn't fit the bill, so I crossed over to the dark side and tried a Toyota.

    This sexy beast:

Drive about 55 miles round trip M-F for work, put on about ten and a half thousand in 9 months. So far about $1500 in gas and watch the 'current MPG' meter go down to next to zero on on ramps but love every minute of it.

You see how the snow sets on her bedsides all nice and tidy? #WAISTBAND looking at that rear end.

I must be unlucky in the chick magnet segment, only compliments on the truck have been from dudes...

I drive a 2011 Honda Crosstour as a daily. Every now and again I drive the truck for a week.... I’ve driven it more lately trying to monitor the dash issues I have.

    But I LOVE my Honda.
