Headed down to Beale street for a quiet day of walking with my bundled up wife, finish it off with a Scottish Ale for me and a salted caramel martini for my wife. Come back to the house, plug in the Xmas lights, whip up some of my famous hot chocolate, and we're gonna sit down to watch a nice movie on tv.

    Win for the day!

I heard somewhere they're not making the next movies from the last one. Instead they're focusing on spinoffs like "Rogue". Any truth to that?

Only bad thing about the 3rd episode was Hayden Christensen. Good plot, just horribly executed IMO

They're doing the Rogue spinoff, then the next episode after The Force Awakens is coming out next December. Basically there will be a spinoff each year in between the next two episodes of the series.

Oh yeah, the last 15 - 20 mins was the best part of the whole movie.

Oh sweet. I'm not a Trekkie or a Star Wars fanboy but I do enjoy the movies. Love to see darth Maul come back with robot legs! (Nephew's a HUGE fan of the cartoon)

LED "cool white" purchased half from Lowes, some off brand. The other half I got from Target, those were Philips LED "cool white". The Phillips worked great, but I couldn't find anymore cool white lights to replace the off brand bullshit from Lowes. So, I just returned them all and decided that next year, I'll get a different shade of white all together.

I've gotten to be much more of a fan in recent years, the theme of good versus evil started to draw me to them more and more.

Went to my 6 and 8 year old son's piano recital with the Mrs. this morning - they did me proud since the only thing I can play is the radio or CD's

Thought I was going to see a few moron drivers put the shiny side down doing 70mph on unsanded polished black ice with a dusting of powdered snow on top.

Going to take the Tundra to the woods to cut a Christmas tree tomorrow, that's become a family tradition and one of my favourite parts of Christmas. The V- bar chains are sized and ready. :)

Every time!! Ace didn't have the proper replacement part so I left the stem as is and bought a new gasket, seat, and spring..then had to guess where the "off" position on the stem was lol.

    Hey- it works perfect now!

Weird. I have purchase from HD for the past 15 years without any issues. Our current lights are LED for less power usage. (See what I did there?)

My heart goes out to you over this. We've had our go arounds too.
Years back we took in a young woman pregnant and nearly destitute. We put her up in a spare bedroom across the hall from the master, got her enrolled in classes at the community college and I consigned for a car for her and helped get her a job as an waitress at Denny's.
Here's where it goes south, I was working out of town and my wife called to tell me that she found the toilet seat up in our master bathroom on a Wednesday. Only one way that's happening. So I had her take all that girls stuff and put it outside, told my wife not to let her back in the house, found out she had lost the job and quit going to classes for quite a while. Been hanging out tweeting with an escaped con. The best part was the collection boys called me about the car loan after about 6 weeks. I told them if they would find and pick up the car wherever it was I would pay it off completely, no problem, but don't call me again cause I'm not gonna pay another nickel on that car if that bitch was driving it. My credit took the 7 year hit but I didn't care. We pretty much pay cash for stuff anyway.

Here's another good story about this same son:
We didn't stop hunting, camping, and fishing when the kids were born, just changed a few things. For instance we'd set up a portable playpen and an easy chair for the bride and I'd take of hunting, get the picture?
So anyhow when he was in preschool being taught about the seasons of the year the teacher asked the kids what season it was? My son jumped up and said, "QUAIL SEASON!"

Damn, you have a big heart @gosolo

This cousin of mine can rot in jail for all I care. All the kids are out of the house now (3) and she can no longer influence them.

Sad thing she is a pretty girl, just a little crazy. You know, the burn your house down with you in it crazy.
