My 2008 crewmax had that. Bench seat and a column shifter. I had young kids then. It Also had reclining rear seats. Never understood why Toyota got rid of those reclining rear seats in the crewmax???

There’s about 5 in my town at various companies. I have feelers out to purchase when they sell. I haven’t confirmed if they have the bench seat like mine though. I won’t buy if they don’t.

Let me know on the ones you do not prefer.

We need a DblCab Tundra 8ft for my 20 year old son who, because of being deaf, he must develop his own business in woodworking and other.

    Thank You

I will. Not sure how close you are to South Dakota but I’ll keep an eye out.

If he wants to learn to weld as well send him my way; it’s a great combo being able to do both! Can make some cool stuff :)

Will travel for a deal on a much needed Tundra.

I flew from NJ to NC to purchase my 2022 RAM 1500 Hemi with only 2,700 miles on it = non-etorque 5.7 HEMI

Yeah...it's nice having a welder. I was a Machinist and the Guys in the Fab Shop showed me the ropes.
It's nice to have brains to pick that know what they're doing.

I had a CM and loved the reclining rear seats but now have a DCLB. Really wish CMLBs were an OEM offering.

    Yeah it is handy.
Modded my small trailer for the James Baroud pop up tent and awnings.
    This is the first edition.
Cant find my latest edition at the moment but it sits on a much larger trailer crosswise at the front of the trailer so the trailer deck is your front porch.
With the larger trailer I can put the SxS on it.
Oh....that last pic is of the larger trailer.

Added some meaty tires and did the axle flip(axle is under the leaf springs rather than above them)

Oh...the racks on either side of the tires are for holding 10 gallons of extra gas and 10 gallons water.
You need the extra gas if you do the trip down Padre National Seashore.
It's 60 miles of sand one way and it drinks the gas!!!
Learned the hard way on our first trip!!
Figured a full tank would be plenty since it's only 120 miles round trip.
    WRONG!!!!
From Corpus Christi all the way to Mansfield pass and the Mexican Border.
We saw a lot of illegals walking the beach after swimming across the Pass.

    Oh....The Fishing is Fantastic!!
    Damn Near Zero Fishing Pressure!!
We'd bring the Kayaks and paddle out past the surf and you'd Slaughter the Redfish and Trout!!!
I'll try and dig up some Pics.

    Oh...and it's completely uninhabited!!!

I guess it's obvious but I rigged the trailer specifically for running down Padre Island.
While I'd love to drag the the Lance down the beach It Ain't Happening!!!

The Biggest Bitch was making the Awnings work without binding.
You'd get everything lined up and the welding would pull it out of alignment.
The answer was tossing a wet rag on the weld before it cooled.
It would pull everything back into alignment.

Another Nice Feature of the A/C....
It has a remote so you can adjust the temp without getting out of bed.
At what point is it no longer camping?

The DC is perfect. I have had many people in my back seats and there’s plenty of room. Unless you haul really fat people around.

Glamping, short for "glamorous camping," is a style of camping that combines the experience of being outdoors with luxurious amenities and comforts,

The 22+ DblCabs are smaller then pre-22

Deal killer for me as to what i was accustomed to in my 2018

Chevy offers a spacious DblCab but only in the 2500/3500 models so that was a deal killer also.

Main advantage of the extended and double cabs regardless of make was always 6.5 foot bed with same length of a crew cab.

The double cabs with the tiny rear doors always look odd to me. Disproportional.

Toyota got it right with the previous generation with the concealed door handles and upsweep glass styling. It gave the dbl cap a different profile than the crew cabs in a good way. A unique feature in the market. The newer version with tiny doors was a move backward to conform with others that looks like an dumbed down version of the crew cab styling

Another answer is that the Double Cab is the only alternative to the darn Crewmax school bus. I still wish they offered a normal pickup truck with regular cab and eight foot bed.

If Toyota did the RIGHT thing, they would replenish their Dealer Lots with NEW pre-22 DblCab SR5 TRD 4WD Tundras = they would sell out in a few days

    Yeah....I ain't proud!!!
I did my fair share of sweating in my younger days camping.
We'd go to the beach to camp and of course there were people all up and down the beach partying!!
You had to tie one on just so you could sleep because it was so hot....pass out whichever.
You'd wake up or come out of your alcohol induced coma feeling like SHIT!!!
Then you'd fall asleep in your lawn chair and get roasted from the Sun!!!
    Good Times!!!
Or at least I tell myself that.....
I couldnt do it today for the life of me!!
