I never let it go below 1/4 a tank- especially in our winters.

I can only afford to put about $10 at a time so mine usually says 50 miles. Nick, how's your mpg's holding up? If yours says 572, you must be averaging near 18?

Mine says in the 500's as well. I have reset it twice and it now shows 15.8 mpg @4000 miles. The light comes on at about 480 miles and it takes about 30 gal.

I haven't driven enough to have exact numbers and I towed my boat the other day, but I just filled up my tank today and don't plan on towing for a few weeks so I should have better idea as to what my average is in a week or 2 but I did notice usually i fill my tank it doesn't normally say 572 i think the S&B CAI helped gain some usually its at about 482 distance to empty but now its at 572 @joonbug that's a +90miles per tank so its probably at about 15mpg right now, was at 13.5 i will see if it adjust more in the next 2 weeks will update you with that info

I have a 38 gallon tank and get nowhere near that #. I barely get 480 miles to empty after the tank is filled up.

I use to get about 480 @COMiamiFan but after I installed the S&B CAI it jumped up to 572 almost 100 mile per tank this CAI will pay for itself after a few fill ups :rasta:

    What winter? Lol.

Great advice there fellers. I cannot tell you how many people that have ran out of fuel and needed help from me. When I lived in Montana, when traveling during the winter, most people would not drop below 1/2 tank of fuel. To this day, I even get a little nervous when the needle drops below half tank.

Nor is it a 38 gallon tank....36. I'm adding a bed tank as well to double the capacity.

On my Tundra, 325 miles was common on the highway when I started looking for fuel. Towing...I usually kept 15 gallons in the bed as a backup. 200 miles and I was in need of fuel bad.

Does anyone know if the S&B CAI 75-5039 will fit a 2017 Tundra SR5? Their site only goes up to 2016 and this is the one for 2007-2016. And would you go with the dry or cleanable filter? Thanks.
