I have shot a few XDm pistols, and they are very smooth. I've purchased XD.45/.40 sub & service sized and wasn't as impressed with them as the XDm.

Everyone on this thread so far has some really nice pistols. Different weapons suit different needs. I'm just glad I'm surrounded by people that are like minded. Notice in the news lately how armed citizens have been helping out? Two recent ones that stick out to me is the Cop that was spared and the other was the Jewery Store in the mall that robbed.

Last I heard NJ had a magazine capacity restriction and some fuzzy laws on Hollow Points. From memory, concealed carry out of your state in NJ is something I wouldn't bother with unless you are exempt. :spy:

Pretty good I assume. I usually shoot farther than that and it does swimmingly. Only thing I've noticed compared to my glocks is it doesn't handle the steel casings as well. Once it gets dirty it starts to have ejection issues.

Why is the G43 banned? What features does it have that makes in illegal in CA?

A CZ fan I see. They are some awesome weapons. I'm lusting over a P-01 in the worst way. I got to handle one at my LGS and it will be my next purchase for sure.

I bought two CZ 82's back when you could get the milsurp imports for ~$129, fell in love. Since then I've acquired quite a few more. KY Gun Co has a good deal on P-01s right now

Rgr that on the distance - just most self defense encounters occur within the 15 ft window.

Something everyone should try sometime. Using anything BUT YOUR WEAPON, conceal the item in your hoster. Then have a buddy/wife step back 15 ft. On Go - they run at you, while you are trying to get your weapon out, point/aim and stop the threat. Pretty damn hard to do, but it is good to practice.
