WB lost a lot of traction when they sold out to Chicago.

I think it's BS that Sonic is that popular.

Agreed. It's the #1 chain on there the same reason the F-150 is the #1 selling pickup.

There was a mild uproar around here when it first happened, but that actually went away pretty quick when they promised not to change anything.
Many folks don't believe it, but nothing has changed yet so we'll see...

I gave Sonic 3 tries. Never again.

    1) ordered a chili cheese dog with fries. Got a hot dog with some half melted cheese shreds on it; NOTHING else. I went back to the window and they said they were out of chili. WTF, you ran out of chili so you were like "He won't notice, just give him this". "Meal" was given to me for free.

    2) Ordered a double cheese burger meal. The top bun was so wet you could wring it out. Went back and they said it's because of the fresh lettuce and tomato. The hell it was, you dropped that shit in the sink. Received new burger.

    3) Didn't want food anymore from this place, so I decided to order a Strawberry limeade. Received diet Cherry Limeade. Complained to waitress who said they were out of Strawberry Limeade. Was offered another drink. Explained to the waitress my other experiences at Sonic and requested a refund.

This happened at different Sonic locations.

It depends on the crew. When I was much younger a Sonic franchise started in the little town where I lived. The food and service waere great until the franchisee turned it over to the teenage crew he hired. They drove it into the ground and it closed after a few months. It stayed empty for a year or so and then re-opened. I talked to the new franchisee one day when he was getting ready to open and he assured me he wouldn't make the same mistake as his predecessor. Again, the food was great until he went home and let his crew rake in the money for him. It closed within a year. Same problem, lousy service and lousy food.
