Yes that’s true. Kind of hesitant to enter the oil field,as I’m concerned about a bust, and also I’m getting a little long in the tooth for that kinda work. We’ve been to TX,just not our thing.

We love the Midwest/West areas and visit several times a year.

Definitely risky on the production/drilling side but usually the refining and petrochemicals side is quite stable once you get in

I’ll just say that I’ve been here my whole life and I’m fed up with this state. It sucks, there are a few places it doesn’t but those are being lost very quickly.

I won’t go on a rant,if you want more details shoot me a PM.

Haha, I was an aerobatic instructor in the past. I promise I’ll keep the 737 right side up for ya. It’s good for job security as well.

I'm actually considering a career change at 31 and pilot is on my list. Can I ask about flight school. From what I'm seeing this can be upwards of $100k.. That sound right?

We have a lot in common. I was assistant plant manager of a pallet company. Worst job I've ever had. I got fired for something I didn't do but it was a huge blessing. My current job is great but it's a dead end. I'm just not that passionate about my field(operations/logistics). I want a change.
