Trucks.. not all vehicles you previously owned, that was on a different thread, lol. Otherwise I'd be listing my 30+ vehicles too

My last truck was a 99 dodge diesel. It was great at towing and hauling but that’s about it. So glad to be behind the wheel of a Toyota again.

Came from a 2004 3.0 2wd ranger. Learned a lot from this truck and done a lot with it on a “try it and see if it works”
    Basis.

Currently in 2019 F250 that managed to eek out a win over the Tundra when I needed a truck for towing (1900lb more payload capacity). But, Im now barely 1500 miles in before its first Powertrain Fault Code that threw it into limp mode at 55mph 2 days ago.

I sold a 17-year-old 4Runner for this truck and now have less confidence in my transportation than before.

I'm hoping somebody will steal it so I can buy a Tundra like I should have from the beginning.

350 super duty, 350 king ranch, 250 super duty diesel 6.0 and gas were the last work/daily driver trucks me and my brother had.
They were 2005-2008 years. The 6.0 was the only one that was eventually to expensive to keep fixing.

Most recent were my wife '96 4runner and my '01 F 150. Both had over 215,000 miles when we sold them and ran great. My wife decided she wanted a new one so we bought her a RAV4 on a Tuesday. While waiting for them to prep it I looked at the Tundra's which were on my short list for a new truck. I found a used Pro they had but wanted way too much for. We couldn't make a deal so I found mine at one of the other dealerships in town the next day and bought it on Thursday. Also had my '92 SR5 that went through many transformations. I bought it new from my uncles dealership when I was 18. I traded my '86 4runner in for it. By the time I sold it, I had put two different chevy v8's, a full cage and a lot of other mods in it. Wish I never got rid of that one.

I also learned after buying it that the Ford Superduty is / was the most stolen vehicles in America do to its high value (well, when people buy a $35k work truck with 40k worth of options :p ) and how incredibly it is to defeat the door locks. Also, apparently when you want a relatively capable work truck to haul drugs back and forth across the desert, a stolen F250 aint a bad option, heh.

No pics, but I’m only on my 4th vehicle in my life.

1989 Silverado. My grandpa gave it to me in 93 when I was a senior in high school. It was my first vehicle. I drove it for ten years. I sold it in 2004. I’d actually like to find it again. It was my grandpa’s, so I wish I could’ve kept it.
2003 Silverado V6. My first new vehicle. Sold it in 2011 when I bought my first Tundra.
2011 Tundra. Still have it, my daughter drives it now.
    2017 Tundra.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
1994 Nissan King Cab 4x4 the color was called Black Emerald. It looked black at night but on a sunny Georgia day it gleamed dark green with the metallic paint. It had a thumping stereo system tinted windows, full front brush guard and tubular side steps. First time I bought new. Payment was $252.69 through First Union bank.

1988 Isuzu pickup with 389,000 miles on it. Muffler fell off. Was 4 different colors. Had cool mag wheels. AC only worked when you were moving. I’d still have it if that lady hadn’t run the red light.

    Fun thread.

Started my automotive life with a 1970 El Camino (that's a truck, right?). Had a 350 backed up with a TH350. Built it in high school auto shop. Met my wife in that class, thanks to that car (after probably the 5th time she asked me to show her how to change the brake pads I finally figured out it wasn't about the brakes...) I eventually had to trade it in on a commuter after it stranded us in the middle of nowhere and I had to get to college classes the next day. Stupidest thing I've ever done. Would LOVE to find it again. No pics of it survived, but I do have the VIN...

After the commuters, a 2005 Magnum entered our lives. Ended up as this; broke into the high 11s in the quarter mile in full street trim on pump gas
    IMG_0386.jpg

Hit our goals with that, sold it and moved on to a 2010 Raptor. We used it as it was designed to be used; sold it at 140k miles, 40k of which had to be offroad. Amazing truck.
    5.jpg

Moved on to a 2017 Ram 2500 CTD and used it to drag around a trailer for a while. But life changed once again and the CTD and long bed are just too much for our needs these days. Passing it on to buy a Tundra

I traded the SR5 about 6 weeks ago because it convinced me I wanted to stay in a tundra from here on out and wanted to upgrade to the nicer interior, sun roof, dual climate control, power side mirrors, and climate controlled seats. Plus it only had 6400 miles on it! Now that I know I’m staying in it I will be doing mods. Started with lift, wheels & tires and loving it more each day.
