Not the Tundra, but I had tint done this past Thursday on my Wife's AT4. I went with a Llumar Pro dealer so we could get up into the Formula One line.

Front Windshield - Air Blue 80%
Driver and Passenger Window - FormukaOne Stratos 15%
All rest of rear windows - FormulaOne Stratos 35%. Man is it ever worth it. It is amazing at how much heat it knocks down, especially in a black vehicle. It is a lot more money to jump in to the higher end ceramics, but man is it worth it.A18F822C-E722-4494-BC4B-DBD293810A36.jpgD96A4B4C-45C6-4C3A-A1AC-5ABBDDF7E64C.jpg

Double Ceramic 5% on the sides and back and 35% on the windshield currently. Unfortunately, I don't have any current pictures.

5 on front sides, 5 applied over factory tint on rear and rear sides (stupidly dark, but not sure what percentage). Love it.

5% side, back over factory tint. 50% windshield with 5% strip that hangs just below the rearview mirror mount. I wish i've done 35% on the windshield, 50% is still too clear for me lol. Ceramic Llumar CTX

5% back, 10% front sides. Ditching the 10% soon and going lighter to 35%. I can't see anything at night. I tint as a side hustle.

Even though 20% looks nice in the day, at night time you will most likely roll your window down just to see when you are backing up. I would suggest going with the legal 35% while you still get UV protection, but visually tinted during the day.

    I think around 15% cause it's a little darker than 20%>
Is this MGM with stock black flares? I've been debating putting mine on without painting or wrapping them.

Can go lower than 35% in Maine. Inspection stations are pain in the asses about it so I havent even bothered yet.

Had the front side windows tinted to match the factory rears. Installer said it was some oddball 23% or something. 20% to 25% seems to be a nice match for the factory privacy glass.

Looks great as far as the match, and keeps things much cooler inside the truck. I would not want any darker for nighttime visibility.

This is without the sunshade which I normally have in place, and clearly the sun is directly through the front in this picture.

25% fronts to match the rears. Doesnt affect night driving really. 35% is the legal limit in Maine.
The cops have never given me any probs but I also dont drive like a douche. My uncle is a Marshal, former Statie, and said its an excuse to pull you over if they want but otherwise they dont typically give a shit about tints, also have never had an issue getting a sticker..

I've had a couple guys tell me there is a tint available nowadays that is dark from the outside, but doesn't appear dark from the inside. I'm not sure this is possible. Anybody know if there is a tint out there that does this?

Basically all tint does that till its dark out... Then it's dark on both sides.

I’m using 35% maxpro maxcool IR film on my driver and passenger front windows and oem on the back windows.
I’m sure it isn’t the best or worst and only cost me $85 to have both windows done. From the outside it is close to oem. From the inside it is a little darker.

Very, very sharp Tundra. I was looking for that exact truck. But stumbled across the Metalic Grey and couldn't pass up the deal.

I almost bought a magnetic gray nightshade edition but found the cement limited I was looking for somewhat local. I really liked the nightshade package and wish it was available with Cement paint. I’m very happy with my color choice, but often wonder if I would have liked the Magnetic Gray just as much. The downside to the Magnetic Gray is it’s darker and shows more dirt and harder to keep clean

I went 50% and love it. I was worried about it at first, but the tinter showed me 50 next to 80% and the difference was hardly noticeable. So, I went with the lesser of the 2.

    Thank you.
Yes, I had to cut and clear to get those tires to fit. In that picture I had 35x12.5x17 tires on Methods. 1.8” lift in the front, no lift in the back.

Windshield tint is good for at least 50hp right? If I go darker, do I get more hp?

I just had my two fronts matched to rears. Also, had sunroof done. I have not done my windshield. I worry about a rock chip or crack and have to redo it....

I put 23% on my front side windows and 38% on the rear sides and back window, all ceramic. 5% strip on the top of the windshield. With a tint meter that works out to front sides being about 14% and rears close to 9%. In my area you wont get stopped for tint by itself. Here they really wont bother you about it, during a stop, if you drop all your windows and turn on your dome light when pulled over so they can see you, your hands, your passengers etc. when they walk up. I won't drive my tundra downtown Chicago because I would likely get stopped just for tint. That and its tough to find street parking for a 19ft vehicle.

If I did it again today I would probably go 35% up front and 45% in the back over the factory tint.

Been tinting close to 20 years…personally I run 18% Global QDP ceramic on the front doors and rear doors…and doing the 70% on the WS this week…the rears meter around 10% and the fronts meter 16%
Not sure if the 3rd gen glass is but Laminated glass does meter lighter than tempered …
On the topper rear glass did 4% QDP…but came up with some canvas curtains for the windoors

…also this pic weathertech sunshade is in.
Side note buy a quality ceramic film …support a solid shop …and you will get a good install!
