Thinking about getting new tires sooner than later, even though mine are only a bit over a year old and have about 15,000 miles on them. They're only XL, not LT. I've been leaning towards 245 75 16, but we'll see. Might go back to the stock 265 70 16, can't decide. I like the taller, skinnier look, but the 245 75s aren't really very tall. Only a fraction of an inch taller than my current 255 70s. With so many tires only available in E rating, I'm hesitant to go with much bigger, after my experience with 265 75s in E. The felt tall, felt weird going around turns, and rubbed a little. Of course I put on a very small lift since then so they likely wouldn't rub, but...If I'm going to go with E rating, I'm leaning toward the 245 75s...

A lot of more modern Tacomas had 245 75 16s stock, so they're easy to find. But still most often in E. I'd love C rated. I saw Hankook all terrians have 265 70 in D, which is kind of crazy. Don't see a lot of D rated tires. But I really like my Falkens, so that's what I'm leaning toward.
