No kids = plenty of time at night in this rural area. What to do?

Netflix and Amazon Prime has been putting me to bed and I’m looking for recommendations.

It took me a few episodes to get into it, the voice-dubbing bothered me but the story is awesome.

Just watched Extinction on Netflix. Very good movie with a surprising plot twist.

Started watching The Man In The High Castle on Prime as well, but it's more of a serious show than pure entertainment so I haven't really been into that too much lately. I'll get back to it soon though.

I still think Happy Valley and Peeky Blinders are some of the best TV ever produced; both BBC but if you run subtitles you'll get up to speed on the accents pretty quickly. Seriously worth it.

I recommend Longmire if you haven't seen it. It's a good filler because the characters get filled out a bit over time, but it's not complicated; you can put it down awhile and come back without forgetting plot lines.

We just finished The Crown. I resisted but it was excellent! (Better by far than The Americans and Ozark; both of those were great ideas poorly executed IMO. Hhmmn, maybe there are episodes of Ozark we haven't seen; I may give that another try.)

I've recently had several friends recommend Flint Town so we'll give that a look coming up.

And, one of my guilty pleasures (it's unbelievable, but I love it anyway) is Blacklist, which I saw recently has more episodes.

If not, Breaking Bad is an easy second on Netflix and Vikings on Amazon being third. All are phenomenal shows.

Would be better with a wacked out professor that could fab a far out flux cap. The movie would be so much better.

Stranger Things for sure, but you'll have to wait until next summer for season 3
If you haven't seen it, Game of Thrones.
We don't watch much, but NCIS we record and watch every other week. There are 15 seasons, so if you haven't seen it, plenty of hours there.
My wife made me watch Riverdale. Not you're original Archie, but also not bad.

Yeah, for sure. One of my kids recommended it right after season 2 started. So we watched one and bought season 1. My wife bought it from Walmart(?), the box looks like a VHS. I asked if she was sure, come to find out, it was a trick:anonymous:. Started from the beginning and never looked back.
