Thanks! Always knew this Tundra forum was better than any other. I got a lot of rude BS on the 2 Silverado and Sierra Forums that I tried. That’s why I bought a new Tundra!

It will be all genuine Porsche 962C. The gentleman I have building the car has the original molds and build the chassis from scratch to the original Porsche blueprints. There were two versions of the chassis the early monocoque aluminum and a steel structure with aluminum skin. The latter was late in the run of the late 80's early 90's. The only difference is I did not want to run the original Porsche transaxle we went for a different approach using a $37,500. Xtrac Daytona prototype sequential six speed. The engine will be a Porsche 996 or 997 twin turbo modified to hit 650 hp. The same as the original engines just a little more reliable because I plan on her being my daily during the summer while maintaining the original race cars power to weight ratio. We will replicate the car in the photo. The chassis work is to the original Porsche blueprints. I will post a few pictures of the work that my builder does. It is pretty amazing. His cars are actually a lot better from a fit and finish perspective than the cars built by Porsche.

Here is the Xtrac 386 sequential transaxle sitting in my garage and the original Hella tail lights from the race car. The most expensive pieces of plastic on the planet.

Here are some photos of the craftsmanship from the previous build that was in process. Mine will take this to the next level.

I have a few other bikes, here is my white one. Before I retired, I’d ride a different bike every day of the week.

My real toy is my 16 C7 Stingray, I just added a A&A supercharger kit and longtubes. 3300 ish lbs and 575 at the wheels through the A8. 575 at the wheels may not sound like that much but the car flat out moves. 92 octane and 7psi all else is stock.

I’ve always loved the vfr’s. There’s a left-over NEW 2015 800 at a local dealership that has been calling my name for months since I found out about t. I’m having trouble saying no but have been strong so far.
