Yup. The 2022 threads and cooler threads seem to attract the ones that get my ignore.

I love that the forum still gives me the option to see posts from ignored members, though. That way I can periodically reevaluate who is on it.

Well - the pot has been sweetened a bit. So a couple of years of season tickets, TB’s newest sponsor Crypto.com gave him 1 BTC as a thank you and a few others.

He honestly may have made the “smart” choice from a payday and PR perspective - think of it like this - he sells the ball and it brings a half mill - sounds good till you realize auction fees are 30%, taxes 40% of your take and then your the jerk who sold the ball to make a half million (oddly no one ever accounts for how much you NET in these stories - kinda like lotto winners…you hear how they won 100 million - not how that was the 20 year annuity payout and cash they got 47 million and taxes took half that…you hear how they “lost 100 million payday” - when reality is they lost a quarter of that).

This guy comes off as a great guy - gets the chance to secure some valuable publicity as a result and of the Bucs make the SB (or even if they don’t) who wouldn’t want to build a commercial for halftime with him in it doing something about giving the ball away - think maybe an online brokerage about “regrets” - hell maybe crypto.com can do something about people talking about how they wish they would have bought BTC years from now and “gave away a fortune” - only to have this guy listening and saying “oh yeah…have I hit a story for you” with him and Tom…

End of the day - guy got something which he should have and the respect of fans everywhere - look at the guys who caught the McGwire and Bonds balls for example and how roasted they were.

 

I haven't ignored any member yet, but I did just unwatch a couple threads I can't seem to not respond to.

 

Same here. And there are some that I will not respond to even if I have a constructive response.

 

I leave a few threads alone as well. Depends on the mood. That's why it's nice to be able to review the ignore decision once in a while.

If either of you ever have something constructive (or hilarious) to say I'd hate to think idiots of the internet prevented you.

 

I've grown exhausted trying to converse with a herd of monkeys pushing their internet narrative. Sometimes I try, but I regret it later. Any form/attempt of a dialog turns into an argument where facts are ignored and replaced with speculation and false truths.

 

Being at Sea World and seeing a guy wearing a "salty crew" shirt shiver and scream like a girl when the dolphins splashed him.

I hate to be that guy, but a few of the previous posts belong in the "What Makes you Angry?' thread. This is the "What Makes You Happy?" thread. Please keep the negativity in the appropriate place.

 

Every thread on this forum derails at some point. This one did too. No biggy. It keeps on rolling, and that makes me happy.

 

We're past the 1st page. That's usually how long they last. Except in 1st gen land. We're lucky to get 5 posts before derailing.

 

Listening to the rain when I’m lying in bed.

 

Watching this new love affair. So glad they're getting along. They went from tug-o-war with my wifes sock to a make-out session.

Camping with my family including the four legged members,

Driving in the Tundra with the dogs,

Penn state home games when they win,

Fishing on the bass boat with my sons,

Having a wife who takes care of my family the way that she does,

A good medevac shift with a good duty crew,

Driving the Chevy SS and listening to tunes,

 

Hahahaha! I was pretty curious how it would go. Normally my boy Tuco doesn't take the alpha role and I was worried little Coco would just bully him. They're treating each other as equals really, unless Tuco tries to hump her. It's hilarious when she goes on attack, the sight and sounds is like a wingless bat with rabies.

 

Pugs trying to be vicious is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen! I died the first time Stella tried to bare her teeth at another dog. Too much lip/jowl and so it just kind of lifts up a little and quivers, but no teeth show at all.

 

I'm gonna try to catch a duel on video and post it this weekend. Pug vs pug is absolutely the funniest.

 

I failed to consider derailing a thread or posting about what makes them unhappy might be making them happy. Now I've confused myself.
