My wife has been begging Toyota to do something about the paint on her white 2013 Corolla but her crappy dealership keeps blaming it on rail dust. She doesn't have any chipping but it looks like it has a bunch of tiny spots of surface rust.

Definitey Iron X it. I did it on my white Tundra followed by clay bar, polish then wax. It was like having a brand new truck again. Now I IronX every spring and use Hydro2 Reload when I wash it. No more orange spots.

I had a nighthawk black pearl 99 with the 5spd, that had to be my favorite car I've owned (Not comparing it to trucks) I had it when I was 19 and drove it pretty hard all they way up to 190k before I threw a rod. That was really the last car I spent time doing mods on up until now with the tundra. That's mostly because of this forum though...

 

Things are such sleepers. Id never expect that 4 door momobile to be faster than my damn z28

 

And that's why I love it. So much fun at a stoplight when folks hear it and see the red Brembos and start asking like WTF is that thing. Has a CAI and a set of ARH long tube headers on it. Was dyno tuned at RPM who also put the headers on it. Turns about 420 HP and/or Torque to the tires. Sounds nasty too!

Trying to get the wife to let me get stupid with it and upgrade the internals and put a cam and supercharger on it. For approx 20K more plus the original price of 38K when I bought it used in 2019.......I'd be putting down 600 to 700 and keeping it fairly safe, reliable, and driveable for a decent weather daily. That is cheaper than trading it now and cashing in on the low 40s equity but still having to finance 30K or so for a ZL1 camaro or similar hot rod.

 

Upgradez. Look at the old return spring all bent, and shit. Plastiques and me-talls. All metal going in. Plastique firing pin guide. All metal going in. Polished stainless.

Look how pretty those new springs are! Love that guide. Pulling the spring back to let the detent off was kinda tough because I've got a cut on one of my fingers, but if I didn't have that it'd have been a breeze!
