What makes you happy?

Spending time with my family & extended family, phone calls with my father & favorite brother since we live far apart, & watching super girl play high school hoops. All in all, it’s an awesome life!

 

Turns out riding this on the ICE was the happiest I've been in a long time.

 

At first I thought maybe it ended up at the bottom of those stairs because you were riding it on ice!

 

Farting loudly while my wife is on zoom calls using her speakerphone

 

My wife's dad died from dementia/alzheimer's. Take patience, depending how bad he is games might be a challenge and possibly frustrating for him. Otherwise, just chill and talk about whatever. Enjoy the time you have to share.

I am being a right bastard with this one, and I just want to clarify that I'm not actually happy anyone is having vehicle issues, but.............



Look at all the moans and howls about the 3rd Gen and the turbo issues and such. Threads and threads on this stuff. Can't help but think it's a bit of Karma for all those that screamed about how the Supra "wasn't even a Toyota" and how it was going to be so unreliable, and the sky was falling, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Supra has been pretty issue free. Runs good, looks great. Gee. Maybe Toyota should have collaborated with BMW for their truck too!

 

Not that I know of. I know they paired up with Fiat, and even for all the "I only buy American trucks" idiots that bitch about it the Ram and Dodge quality has been coming up since.

 

Yeah, that was one of the things the Fiat guy did. He separated the brands. That was when all the Dodge cars lost the little ram head, got split crosshair grilles, and got the double ribbon logo/symbol. Notice how the Rams don't have crosshair grilles at all anymore. They wanted to show greater distinction between the two. Read an article/interview with the guy who was placed in charge of the Dodge brand and his goals were all good ones. Better quality, return to the muscle heritage roots of Mopar, etc. Was a good read.

 

They were partnered about 20 years ago. I can't remember when they separated.

 

Mercedes reliability really took a hit when they started putting Chrysler parts places they thought people wouldn't notice.

 

Weekday rush hour with hundreds of people around: blow the whistle once
3 AM on a Saturday with not a soul in sight: better blow it at least a dozen times

 

Laughing at the guys who feel the need to gun it when the light turns green so they can sit at the next red light longer

 

I do that and I completely blame my glorious @dirtydeeds BAMuffler!

 

A bowl of buttery popcorn and a tall glass of Coca-Cola so cold it's almost slushy.

 

It's rare for me to do this anymore, but if I'm in a hurry and can get through traffic, I will gun it to avoid getting caught by the next red light.

 

I've done that at times but there are some places around here where I know that's just not possible because of the way they've timed the lights.

 

The Amsterdam red light district, Amsterdam coffee shops, antiquitech, good health, my dog, my Tundra and Land Cruiser, the 80s/90s, the journey, and driving on the autobahn.

A glass bottle of bold red wine makes me happy. Even better when there are multiple bottles and friends to share it with.

 

I've never heard of this guy, but he's funny! And he would be funny even without cussing, which is REALLY impressive!

That's awesome that they are. Might be something with the recall they issued for it back then, and it may not have an expiration date. IDK, repainting a car is a pretty mild recall when you look at some of the other things automakers have dealt with.
