What makes you angry?

Todays annoyance: mailed a check and some personal documents to someone in June - never arrived and we assumed lost in mail.

Calls me today - neighbor happened to see them and said “I have something for you” - proceeds to hand off the opened envelope and even says - we opened it (why? - it had your neighbors name and address on it ??) saw it was a check and Mr said throw it away - but I said no…I’ll hold on and give it to you next time I see you.

You KNOW the intended recipient, you see it’s the neighbor in your duplex and you think “hey - why don’t I open this in case there’s something I might want?!?” Then - seeing it’s a damn check, you wait 5 damn months to pass it off ?!?

Even if you overlook the opening someone else’s mail (blame it on kids or something if you must) - why would you not put it in a new envelope and drop it in your neighbors mail slot with a note immediately??? Hell - suppose someone was waiting on that check - you just screwed them and made them wait even longer.

People are just assholes.

 

And idiots.

 

I hate neighbors,and I live on 40 acres!
That is almost mail theft/ hostage situation

 

We could be neighbors. I'll get 40 acres and place my house as far from yours as possible. We can wave and never talk to each other.

 

Hell - grew up on 100 acres and it wasn’t enough space between neighbors for me.

To top it off - every damn neighbor for about 4 miles had the same last name.

And we never had issues with mail delivery like that.

My current place is on a dead end - I have 1 family immediately next door, but they speak very little English - just polite nods and waves when we see each other. Wonderful situation - they don’t bother me and we don’t bother them. Close enough to a “city” I can drive 20 minutes if I need something - but country enough to be outside of the madness.

Now if I could just raise the collective IQ of the Southern population above 76 and teach these people how to drive at the speed limit or within say 15% above - that would be great. It’s either 55 on a 65 in the left lane or 93 in the right with these people…and don’t get me started on people who refuse to move to the left with no one there when your entering the highways here.

 

Lota people don't like the weather,(2°f this morning) if you're okay with cold and snow, come on up! Sounds like you would be a great neighbor!

This latest fucking cutesy term, I know 3 Karens including wife with combined 60+ years in the service industry having to deal with uppity bitches. I think the cool people of the internet should have chosen Emily or Megan or Ashley or some other entitled 90's girl names.

 

Wow, Almost everyone else but me prefers Daylight Saving, give me Standard time. Hate driving to work in the dark.

 

I wish we could just pick one and stay with it. I don't care if it's with or without dst, I just don't like the time switching.

 

I really just wish they would stop this shit, they aint saving anything, if you want more light get up earlier instead of screwing everything up for everyone else....Damn farmers. Split the difference and leave it alone in perpetuity.

At the grocery store, when the person in front of you doesn’t put down the goods divider on the belt. Like they are saying that’s your job.

 

When you buy an eight hundred dollar smart TV. Then come to find out it does not have Bluetooth. But my 80 dollar tablet does.

 

My mother in law is named Karen and she's the one we take to a store if we have to return something or get a refund and expect attitude from the staff.

 

It's dark when I go to work either way. At least in DST it can be light when I come home.
