Trying to tow a lowered car with a lifted truck.

I have 2 beetles. I towed one recently and it went fine, it is lowered in the front. Went to tow my other one and its a bit lower than the other. Its too much angle and can't get the tow bar onto my drop hitch. Gonna have to come up with plan b and maybe c.

You guys must have talked to my wife!

Looks like a 6" drop receiver might work for me. I'll have to measure where that puts my ball and go from there.

Chalk up another “victory” for my sibling today in the constant game of pissing me off…

Scrolling through FB - took a picture of something and clearly visible just sitting in the background are 3 long guns and a pistol as well as about 7 beer cans.

    Wouldn’t care except:

    1. the house this was taken in is still in my name - will be for a month or so. Anyone not responsible enough to secure a firearm when not in use has no business owning one in my opinion - and if something happens because of her stupidity - wanna bet they ain’t coming after the homeowner and not the idiot who leaves guns laying around

    2. One of said guns is among the “missing” guns that she “has no idea” of who took them (very distinctive - it’s 100% mine, guess she found it and just didn’t have time to call me to let me know before someone came over to party)

There are few things I hate more than a thief…she is rapidly becoming one of them. The sad fact is her idiot live in has teenage kids in the house too - just an absolute recipe for disaster there - teenage boys, unsecured guns and a fridge stocked with beer and an unlocked liquor cabinet left alone regularly in an unsupervised environment. These 2 disappear on the regular leaving kids around the house - I don’t care if they are the most responsible kids in the world - all it takes is one irresponsible friend showing up - and again - who ya think someone is gonna come after - the idiot who allowed the condition or the homeowner?!?

Neighbors on both sides of her are older and in all honesty a bit “snobbish”. It was fine when my parents lived there - everyone was older and quiet. When I got the place - we were all friendly as they knew I wouldn’t rent it out and I kept the yard neat and everything was kept up….I can only imagine their reaction since she started squatting there.

Just when you thought they couldn’t make a more sickening Pumpkin brew - The mad scientist in a brewery somewhere near St Louis came up with this creation…

I don't totally understand but I can see the problem. Looks like something at the service port that shouldn't be at the service port.

You'd hate to see the "Engineering" my Dad use to do keeping the restaurant up and running. I got stories...one involves main buss fuse blowing out and 8 gauge jumper cables.

What that is is a low pressure switch. That's a legitimate repair in place of "recovering" the refrigerant and having to braze in the OEM replacement if you have a service port inside the unit.

Guess I'm on a roll. How about multi million dollar chain restaurants freezing new equipment budgets so hundreds of dollars in repairs on garbage like this. This is a place where all of you have gone to drink, eat wings, and look at boobs so guess how important the only grill is. Was due for replacement last year, probably 3 major $ repairs this past 18 months.

I dare you to show me any true “yuppie” drinking a Busch product.

Mic Ultra / Bud Light - sure….Busch is marketed towards the guy who thinks he’s somehow better than the Natty Light drinker - yet doesn’t purchase a product that doesn’t come in a 30 pack.

Yuppies prefer a 6 pack in their ultra cool $300 Yeti

But yes - the freaking “Hard Seltzer” but is out of control.

20 some years working in the industry - it was Zima and Hard Ciders and Ice Beers….they came and went. Then it was IPA everything….before that it was Dry beer…Bud Dry - what a complete waste of a can.

The stupidity of consumers and their complete lack of taste and common sense never fail to disappoint. I mean 4% of this crap is even drinkable to me - the other 96% is untouchable.

But being a merchandiser - it was a dream job. Company gave you a few cases of product and a few hundred in cash to bribe the bartender for each spot - your job - pay em off, talk it up and get the “tastemakers” (read hot people and loud mouths) to be seen drinking your product to boost sales. Man did we have fun hyping up some of these turds - every night was a party it felt like…of course funny part was - I rarely drank on the clock.

Gen 2.5 makes me mad! If we're doing this, then there needs to be a Gen 1.5 for the 04-06 Tundra Double cab. It has more in common with a Sequoia of those years than the Tundras of years before.
