What makes you angry?

My wife and her family shop there because the only thing they care about is paying the lowest price.

 

Post an item here for sale…clean, functional but very heavy. State specifically “Will Not Ship!”

First reply: “Are you willing to ship to zip code xxxxx?”

Need some kind of public flogging for them. Change their user name to “Village Idiot” for a week or something similar.

 

There's just something about for sale ads on any platform that hampers people's ability to read.

Ya see, that seems like a legit offer. Heck, I don’t even mind a gentle nudge of “will you consider shipping?” after the ad has been there for a few days. Sometimes you just gotta ask!

Yeah, I would expect the opposite. If someone is coming to my house to do a job for me, they'll tell me if it's too far for them.

 

Seeing somebody I love suffer the consequences of somebody else's actions, and being utterly powerless to do anything to help. I can't help in anyway, because I'm disallowed, and it's frustrating. Not sure I could actually do anything to help even if I were allowed, but being pushed to the side and told that I basically just have to wait and see what happens....

I have a pretty good relationship with my family and this kind of shit still happens. It is unavoidable once you have 3 or more people.

Now, his/her behavior may garner the douche bit, because Police are people, too. Them citing you for something you are actually doing wrong doesn't make them a douche.

 

Waking up at 2am and still being wide awake at 3am. I envy my dog, he can lay down and sleep any where any time.

 

I second this. It seems the only time I feel like I can sleep is when I need to not sleep... like 20 minutes before I go to work.

 

Ok, so let's play this out, and for the sake of the conversation we'll say the cop has no actual reason to pull you over. Had you been wearing your seatbelt; what would have happened?

 

ME: 911, I'd like to report a robbery taking place right now. There are three thugs stealing stuff out of my shed. I'm at 123 Home Court. Can you please send someone NOW to catch them?

911: Sorry we don't have any patrol cars available in your area.

ME: Well please send one SOON!

[Hang up]
[2 minutes later]

ME: 911, don't worry about the guys robbing my shed. I shot them.

911: What!!!

[1 minute later, three patrol cars, lights flashing, pull into my driveway, catching the thugs stealing my stuff]

OFFICER: I thought you said you shot them?!?

ME: I thought you didn't have any patrol cars available in my area?

 

When your driveway is 30 feet long, you don't actually have to stop your Mazda in the middle of the street while you wait for your garage door to open.

 

Exactly. I wake up between 5:30-6 normally, I finally dozed off just before 6 but my wife woke me up asking me to turn off the fan. I went back to sleep and just woke up.

 

I know this has been mentioned before, but it INFURIATES me when some moron is playing with their phone at a stop light instead of paying attention to the light. When the light turns green, GO!!! You are screwing people behind you if you delay. There are some lights around here that only allow 4-5 vehicles through at best. When the moron in front delays, it cuts that number to 2-3.

 

The lights here aren't bad if you're going straight through but every single major intersection has advance green lights that are too short. I always gun it when the light turns green to try to get as many cars through as possible. Then again, all the guys behind me just run the yellow or red light so maybe I shouldn't bother.

 

Yeah, that puts me into rage mode very quickly. That and the asshats that don’t realize they’re in the wrong lane until they reach the intersection. Then slam on the brakes and cross multiple lanes while disrupting the entire traffic flow

Working nights, so my clock is essentially flipped from everyone else's. It's the middle of the night for me... and HR decides to call my PERSONAL phone to annoy me about some benefits bullshit they need filled out. The coup de grace is that they've decided to do it all electronically this year, so instead of being able to fill it out and drop it off on my days off like last year, I can only do it at work... you know, when I have my f**king job to do.

My Corolla's oil spec is 0W16. Just had the first oil change at the dealership (Toyota Care) and the service record says "Bulk 0W20". I just went into the dealership to ask why they didn't tell me (or ask me) to put a non-standard oil in my car. Service azzhat had the balls to look me dead in the eye and say "I guarantee our tech put the right oil in". Engage rage mode. He backed down when I asked if he personally watched over the service and then suggested he pay for an oil sample test to prove his guarantee.

This isn't about what oil is in my car, as I know 0W20 is an approved alternate for one service cycle. This is all about doing what you say and documenting what you do. All it takes is a tech with a pen to write "filled with 0W16 per spec" on the service sheet and I'm good.

I was headed to the Parts Counter after our chat to buy a few things, but walked out instead. Nope, not spending money with them. And I guess I'll start with my own oil changes now instead of having the dealership do it for another round.

Never between songs, or at the beginning or at the end...or even the part in the middle that's just "meh". Nope, get all the texts when the song is hitting a peak. Total cock block.

 

At least you got a plate. The last 4 or 5 times we’ve been to Cracker Barrel they didn’t bring plates with our biscuits (before the meal). Always a stupid excuse like, “we don’t have any small plates “ or “all the plates are in the dishwasher” I had enough tonight and vented on the waiter and manager. If I wanted to eat off a napkin, I would go to McDonald’s. People just don’t have common sense anymore. Very very frustrating.

When everything that is going on finally wears me down and I slip up. I wind up being an asshole to somebody that doesn't deserve it, and it takes me a day and some sleep to see it. I apologize and try to explain, and just feel like a jerk for not holding it together better.

 

When you're in line at the grocery store and somebody decides to bust out the check book and write a check
didn't know people still did that and this lady in her 40s took a solid 7 minutes to do it. I'm timing it by the songs playing in the store.
