What makes you angry?

Thats totally different. I mean people who are too distracted to walk at a normal pace.

For example when I'm walking into a store and my plan is to get in, get what I need, get out. I always get stuck behind some people who have no urgency and are aimlessly strolling.

 

This needs to be fixed. I cant stand it either. Or when they say they have tints. No you have tint.

 

How about the people who call a magazine a clip?

This is where.it comes in handy being about the size and shape of a fire hydrant. Low center of gravity, drop a shoulder and "gangway!!!"

 

YES. As a firearms instructor I just ignore it most of the time after I have already told them once.

 

Or where some guy just changes his user ID in the middle of a thread...

You won't enjoy the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child. In the first one, he pumps or racks the action on an automatic shotgun multiple times. And in the last one, he says that 8 bells is noon in Navy time.

 

I've already read 'em all and Child hasn't been as bad as some in the gun handling department. At least not enough to put me off his books.

 

My brother hates them for that reason but I enjoy them enough to overlook the inconsistencies.

 

The inconsistencies aren't as bad as casting Little Tommy Cruise as Reacher in the movies. Like sheer size isn't a key feature in the series.

 

You guys are the kind to count bullets when there is a shootout on movies aren't you?

I love Jack Reacher books. Read them all. Have you guys read any of the series that Lee Child licensed other authors to do in the Jack Reacher universe?

 

One of my favorites is those scenes where some criminal is at their house and cops drive up to apprehend them with their lights on and sirens wailing. As if the element of surprise is something they can live without.

 

How about the LEOs that get home, and first thing they do is dump their badge and sidearm in a bowl/drawer/shelf and the unlocked front door. Who does this if they carry, and especially if in LE? You carry EVERYWHERE.

 

Or when the cops yell across a crowd of people for the bad guy to stop, rather then getting close and/or surrounding him so he can't get away.

 

Yup. Terrible!


Another favorite SNAFU for me is the whole "keep him on the line so we can trace the call" stuff. The location of that call is known before they even pick up the phone.

 

Yes, but I love the commentary from the mods. That seems to make up for missing the post sometimes.
