Giving a week's notice for a grocery list to be assembled, taking said list that only has 5 things on it and thinking "sweet, this'll be quick"; only to get a text, while en route to the store, that is a half mile long with added shit in no coherent order.

Heaven forbid we fucking plan so we don't inconvenience others.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I got one... When you think all of your 'honey-do-list chores' are done and now it's time for your time to do whatever... she starts every sentence of goodbye with "before you go" !!!! Before you go, can you _______. Fill in the blank because I've heard them all.

After 42 years of marriage the answer to that is either "Sure, hang on a minute" or "Probably not". Both answers, over the years, have become acceptable.

Your first mistake is doing them in the first place, especially multiples in the same day. Pace yourself, grasshopper! Procrastinate and delay (unless something truly is urgent, most times they are not). Eventually get around to doing ONE occasionally.

After 27 years together (23 married) I've learned, at least with my wife, whether you do one thing or twenty she thinks you should always do one more. Then one more. Then one more... It does me no good to bust my ass, or make any effort to attempt knocking stuff off of some list - there's always one more thing.

I know part of her list (the most important items), and there's two, maybe 3 things I consider tackling - at some point in the future. Some day I may actually get around to them. ;)

I don't dig the smell but I don't feel the need to complain incessantly every time I notice someone doing something that I don't like but that is legal on their own property.

As long as they keep everything on their property I'm fine with it. If I can smell it, they are NOT keeping it ALL on their property!

That reminded me of when I worked at a business that only had one microwave in the break room, and for some reason, every single smelly ass fish dish known to man was cooked there, just because. :( ;)

There are lots of reasons to hate public campgrounds but my new number one is the number of people that are apparently incapable of raising and lowering their trailer jacks by hand these days. There's nothing more I want to hear - especially while my daughter is trying to sleep in our tent - than some big burly guy using an impact gun to do a task that my mother in law has no trouble doing manually.

I like to write my list in the order that the stuff is laid out in the store, at least partially because if I don't read in on the list, I don't remember that we need it. Doesn't matter how many times I've explained this to my wife, she'll always write it in a random order.

Sorry but bad argument. What if you were vegan but you neighbor fires up his smoker or BBQ in his back yard (perfectly legal) and you smell it?

I used to love watching the show "Wheeler Dealers", it was a show based in the UK where they buy vehicles in bad shape and get them into good shape to resell.

One thing that fascinated me was seeing them take parts of the car to be rebuilt, like a steering rack for example. They would take it off and head to some shop and show how they rebuild them and test them and end up with a great quality part at a cheap price.

How come there doesn't seem to be any shops like that out here? For most things of that nature a rebuild costs the same as buying new from the dealer, or you can buy some low quality aftermarket part and cross you fingers.

The issue is mainly liability. If a rebuilder does everything right, they can still be sued if the part fails. Even if the rebuilder is exonerated, the legal costs can bankrupt the company. They operate on pretty thin margins and the cost of liability insurance drives the cost of a rebuilt unit up to nearly the cost of a new unit. I wanted to rebuild the power brake booster on a pickup I had many years ago No rebuild kits were available because the company that made them had been sued out of existence. Someone bought the kit, rebuilt the booster, did it wrong, had a wreck, and sued the company for damages. The morons on the jury decided that the company was at fault and the payout put the kit manufacturer out of business. The other rebuild parts manufacturers decided it wasn't worth the risk and now only sell to the few remaining commercial rebuilders. Oddball vehicles like the one I had get left out in the cold because there isn't enough demand. I could have sent mine in and waited, but I simply set it up for no power brakes and moved on.

Maybe it's a United States thing then, we do sue everybody for everything. I might be sued for suggesting such.
