Yeah you spend more time in line than having fun on the rides. Those speed pass things some parks like D-land has piss me off too. Just because you have more money to blow shouldn't give you priority to get around the long lines. They make us all wait longer. I'm tired of rich people shit.

Unplug the hair dryer in the bathroom, plug it in close to the thermostat, turn it on low and point it at the thermostat. You have white noise and a cool room.

I completely agree with that. The thing where you can get a one-ride line pass for free is cool though. I forget the name of it, where you get a pass to a specific ride for 3:45 or whatever time it is marked as.

I was at Universal Studios and even with the limited people allowed in, I spent 7 hours there and got into 5 rides. Tram ride took roughly 45 minutes, the line to get lunch took about 30, Harry Potter I got lucky and was given a pass (thanks to the employee who spotted my niece and her birthday badge), the other Harry Potter ride was 20 minutes, the secret life of pets took an hour (ride broke apparently), panda movie was 20 minutes.

Still, had a great time with family.

    It SUCKS!

Yes, I need a very light, large balloon mounted on a pole that moves in the breeze when the AC is on. That would reset the timer without leaving the AC running constantly. I'll have to think about the best way to do that.

This is the worst thing I have ever heard of! Screwdriver and a couple jumper wires would take care of it

I took it apart and researched the model. It is connected to a central computer via RF. If I try to do anything with it I will have no AC at all, and would likely have to pay for repairs. I sent a VERY nasty email to the GM of the hotel. He responded, saying it was broken and they fixed it, and gave me 20,000 HHonors points for my trouble. I will respond to him only after tonight, when I see if it really works better. We'll see. . .

So I noticed that they did make a small adjustment last night, but I still woke up to a room that was a good 4 degrees warmer than the thermostat was set for.:mad::mad:

When I'm walking through the kitchen for a glass of water at night and my ankle tells me that my wife left the dishwasher open to dry the dishes. Fawk that hurts.

I've been tipping quite well lately for takeout at restaurants because I figure folks in the service industry are hurting these days.

Everything's open here in Ohio. They can't hire enough waiters and waitresses right now. Every restaurant I go into has a sign that says hiring and please be patient as we are short staffed right now, so the people that are working are working hard, but I assume they're making more money in tips than normal because they're having to cover more tables. I tip well when I sit down to eat, but I can't justify a tip when all you do is bring me out a bag of food, to me, that would be like tipping the person in the mcdonald's drive though.

I always just tip $1 for take out. It's not much, but I figure they need it more than I do. Working in the food industry is hard, especially right now.

As @mech_engineer09 said, everything is open here BUT no one is working. Perfect example: Chipotle. I'm not downloading then ordering food off the damn app (as I stand in the restaurant) because you "don't have enough people" to take my order, cook it, and make it while I wait patiently. GTHOH. I get being understaffed, but all the workers when I've been in since this new practice are standing around doing jack. Been in about four-five times, multiple locations, saw this and left. I won't go to places (specifically chains) like this until you get back up and running like usual.

When you see the dinning room closed at a fast food place now it because there is no one to work, went to a call last week at an Arbys that was running on two employees. Manager was running the drive thru and fryers with dinning room closed and one employee making food.

What industry and do your job offers include green cards? Could probably swing a cat in Calgary and hit 1000 out of work engineers.

When somebody wants help to move but they're unorganized, haven't packed, and are heading to the Uhaul an hour after it opened.

Exactly how I wanted to spend my 3 day weekend.

    mentioning moving.
You try to give some shit away and someone says "Yeah we'll take it". "Great come and get it", two weeks later it's still sitting in the way. If I haul it off to Goodwill I'm the bad guy because I could just as well taken it to them. I'm giving shit away for free, do I really have to deliver it?
