What makes you angry?

Agreed. My guest wifi network password is on the fridge. Grab a beer and hook up to the wifi. People using the wifi doesn't cost me anything, it's not like I get charged by the number of connections made to it and my guests aren't downloading movies.

Do you have really limited bandwidth at home? Here, home internet is loads cheaper than mobile. I pay $100/month and I have unlimited bandwidth at gigabit speeds on my home internet vs $60/month and 6GB at LTE speeds on my phone.

 

Not in my current house, but 2 years ago in my apartment a few extra devices would sometimes cause hesitation or small glitches on my TV (Roku). Admittedly in my current house its an empty fear, but this is the "what makes you angry" thread, not the "is it really a problem" thread.

You'd hate it here, we're 'almost' off the grid. Nothing but 1.5 MB DSL and 2 bars of cell service if you're lucky.

 

Slang misspellings of actual words for nothing more than being unique or hip. along with adding the long E sound to words for baby talk type of things. Baby words.

Examples;

• boi instead of boy. Why? Do you not know how to spell, or are you trying to be special? 'Cause you come off as "special" alright...
• Blanky/blankie. Why confuse a child with incorrect or made up words? It's not cute. It's dumb, and it makes it harder for kids to learn the correct words later. Teach them correctly from the start.
• Chicken Nuggies. So. Much. Rage.
• Wah-wah for water. Binky for pacifier. See Blanky/blankie explanation.

I asked my mother in law about this because she has a background in early literacy and was a pre-school teacher for many years and she confirmed that she always uses the correct word for something. Otherwise, the child can get confused because they won't realize until later in life that a blankie and a blanket are the same thing.

 

When the hand soap is running low and somebody fills it with water, then you blast yourself in the crotch.

 

When I call a establishment for service or help with a product..... jump thru the automated “full sentences” answering system. Correct it three times with “NO” and then still don’t get to talk to a person.... or if I do- They are in some other state or country and have no real ability to assist me.
Couple minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

 

Morons driving around normal highways and streets with lightbars and such on full blast. One of these days they're going to blind somebody enough that they get into an accident.

If you are one of the previously mentioned morons, please for the love of all that is holy, turn that shit off! At the very least aim it properly if you insist on being a douche and running them at all times.

I've been at Universal Studio for an hour and I'm pissed that I'm not at work instead

 

My parents have talked about taking the family on a big trip to Disneyland in a couple years once the grandkids have gotten a bit older, mainly because we never went as a family when my brother and I were kids. I've still never been. I have zero interest whatsoever in getting within 10 blocks of that friggen zoo. I told my parents the family can go to Disneyland, I'll charter a fishing guide for a few days. See ya back at the hotel.

 

Alow drivers in the fast lane who dont switch lanes when they see cars constantly going in front of them.

 

It used to be fun until they started the payment plan on passes. Now its absolutely a nightmare to go. You spend 2 hrs waiting in line for 1 ride and maybe more if ots a popluar ride on the weekend. I have had friends get turned away because the park was at max capacity several times. Its juat not worth it anymore

 

yeah...I don't do lines. I get pissy waiting in line for 2 or 3 minutes at the grocery store. I'm sure as fuck not standing in line for 2 hours for a 5 minute or less roller coaster.

Hotel thermostats with motion sensors!!!! I've always been able to hack them to disable that "feature" but my current hotel controls them from a central computer.
