Hey some drivers give a shit, some don't. If you have a closed/locked gate in a place where it ain't gonna get stolen, its not gonna rain that day, I drop it outside the gate. If I think its "iffy" leaving it outside your gate, I figure it out, call you, find another place to leave it, wrap it up in trash bag, etc.

I'm just saying if you post directions on how you want it delivered, put a sign up with instructions, put a box out where I can drop the packages, I am more than happy to help you out man.

You make it an obstacle to get to your front door or leave the package in a dry place, that's on you man. Same thing if you have an asshole dog in the yard, that shit gets dropped off at the end of your driveway if that's the case. I'm not gonna find out if your barking chihuahua/pit bull/pit bull mutt/german shepard is friendly.

When Im trucking up hill on the 805 doing about 76mph and a douschebag in a sedan cuts me off and does not increase his speed causing a hazardous situation. And, I can see him laughing in his rear view mirror...so I communicate the double bird signal as I pass alongside with eye contact and he sends the hang loose signal while laughing. I hope he gets 4 flats and accosted by bums while walking to a payphone because his mobil phone is dead. And eats a bad burrito, and his slim fit jeans give him a bad rash. Bahahaha.

Geez, that's terrible. I get cut off a lot but it's just people who are too scared to drive the speed limit, not ones who are deliberately being assholes.

I had this happen Easter weekend. I don't get overtime, so I'm not supposed to work the weekends, but my technicians call me anyway. And of course they use my personal cell instead of my work cell.

This stuff is definitely annoying. I'm not afraid to put my foot down though, I know those above me will back me up.

I was covering for a coworker who was on vacation one time and had a tough technical question at like 5:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. I called the technical specialist's cellphone and he didn't turn it on and check his messages until 9:30 the next morning. He says to me "sorry, I don't generally check my phone after work." Ok, so why is the company wasting money on a work phone for you?

Hasn't been an issue for me so far...

Also, this whole working for free concept doesn't apply when you're on salary and overtime exempt, like in my last job.

Yeah, they're scared to drive the speed limit but think nothing of running through that stop sign to pull out into busy traffic flowing at 45mph+ and cut people off / nearly cause a pile up... to drive 28mph. **** them A-holes!

At least that's what I encounter around here, among other idiotic things. I'll never understand how those who drive the big trucks for a living keep their shit together and resist just running over all the dumb-****s they must encounter on a daily basis. Mad props to you guys/gals, you're stronger than I am.

How about this.....BEFORE we had the self check out lanes.

You’re in line at the grocery store, and the person in front of you has a handful load of stuff. Clerk scans all merchandise, tells them the total, and they don’t have enough money. Then asks the clerk to take off this item, that item, then ask how much this costs, or that costs. Only to find out all they have is $20 when they racked up $50 worth of items.

I tell myself, “You got to be kidding me? Seriously? WTF?”

You're right that it does apply but if they phone me on a long weekend and I say "are you really sure you need me? Because I'm at the lake and over two hours away", that's going to reflect poorly on my next performance review.

I go to a campground. Thinking I can get away from it all.... you know... fresh air, clear sky, camp fire dinner.... Then somebody wheels in their f350 dually diesel and fires up loud music, a reality tv show cranked to 11, and their generator running all night.
