If there were more GOOD people with guns, THAT WERE ALLOWED TO CARRY THEM, the body count would have been a lot lower.

Ammunition prices and reasons for the inflation. 9mm is damn near 90 cents/round! This is having an impact on enthusiasts and small business that make their living off of training.

Agreed but I'm pretty sure that CO isn't that difficult to get a carry permit. I was reading this story as I was getting ready for the gym and it occurred to me that I need to find a way to carry at the gym. I know some guys do it but I don't know how the job with a pistol banging their side.

Yes and no. You may be mistaken for one of them. Original report was 3 active shooters

We allow exposed carry without a permit, and concealed with a permit. If you find a way to carry while in the gym, lmk. This is why I always carry at a grocery store. Get family and others to safety, and then worry about myself. Others need help before I do.

Being on this earth for 68 years now, I've seen it all and some things you shake your head at.
What does make me mad though is the negative application of social media to hurt people all over this world.
It started out as a productive tool and has been turned into a WMD of sorts.
Our society has forgotten what human beings have been put on earth for.
Working together we bring out the best of human kind.
Imagine how many disease cures, how many technological breakthroughs this world could achieve if we looked for the best in the human race.

It is becoming more clear every day that social media may be our downfall. I'm serious. We are not moving in a healthy direction.

It changes day to day but one thing always does and that is idiot drivers. Don't drive as much as I use to but when I do I encounter at least one. Today I am passed over the Google App issue. Last night I noted the weather app would not open. This morning several would not. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all and some twice.

Trying not to get a vacation here, but I guess the way to put it is social media has been found to be a powerful weapon. As Edward Bulwer- Lytton wrote in 1839, "The pen is mightier than the sword". (Admittedly, I had to look that up to give credit for the phrase). It just took around 180 years to perfect the delivery mechanism.

If people would just wise up, tune out the BS, and focus on their immediate friends, family, and community, the internet might not have such a profound affect on our society.

The problem is that, for so many people today, especially younger people, the internet IS their immediate friend/family/community. So they are very easily led astray by the lies that propagate so easily around social media.

I had the same thought, but irony doesn't make it less true. Social Media and the way it is wielded is certainly concerning, but only because society/culture has placed such importance on it.

This kind of stuff is why this forum is really the only thing close to social media I have.

Not sure if this is just a SoCal thing or not, or if its been brought up before, but can't stand the groups of bikers that look like they are in the Tour de France taking up the right hand lane on really busy streets.

"Training" that just consists of someone reading from the slides in a presentation that they didn't even create. At least this session only took 2 hours instead of the 3 hours it was scheduled for...

    Well, motorcycles can't do that.
I'm not going to ask you what happened to give you that thought but, this country was built on people's rights.
If they're not doing anything illegal, whats the beef.
Anyone trying to negotiate LA traffic has to be a little nuts anyway.
BTW, I ride and have been since I was 16. I don't do drugs but I enjoy a good cigar and single malt every once in a while. (have two scooters both built by me)
My Tundra at one time or another will transport my bikes if needed.

Yeah I read that and understand the differences but, they're doing something they love and most likely got permission to do it.
Just bad timing for some auto drivers I guess.
I have seen and been in cycle rides where drivers yelled, threw things and such before.
I don't believe UTAHRK would ever do something like that for sure.
I've just been on the receiving side of it.
