Shrooners? Shiitake's are best with Shabu-shabu or Sukiyaki! I know. Spent almost 5 years in Japan.

My least favorite thing in the world is slow left lane drivers who speed up once there’s a chance to pass. They’re just being controlling jerks on purpose.

The last and only time I had scrambled eggs and brains was when I was 14. 51 years ago. My dad took me and my great uncle Stuce to my dad's cousins ranch in north west corner of Nevada. I bagged my first bench buck there when I was 12. 29" rack. 4X4 point with 2" ring guards. 1 shot thru the eye and out the ear with my open sight Marlin 336 .30-30. Stuce was retired. Had a big ranch not far from Cedarville, CA a long time ago. Bad ass actually. He was 70+. Turned out that was his last hunt. He bagged a sweet bench buck. FYI>>>bench buck is a hybrid muley/white tail mix. Big ass bucks. 220lbs dressed would be ok. Stuce cooked breakfast the next morning after he bagged his buck. "Matt, try my scrambled eggs". I loved it. My dad made some sourdough biscuits and some great thick cut smoked bacon with the rind still on. To die for. Anyways, after I told Stuce I loved his scrambled eggs...that's when he said he mixed it up with the deer brains. What can I say? It was excellent. Only thing missing was some nice mushrooms......

I can relate to a time in my life (patriotic obligation) when I was truly "hungry" and ate with similarity. To this day, I relate to "hunger" as being very similar to the old cliche "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" :hattip:

Never mind how they were raised, but just how they look when being turned into food. People are so detached from where their food originates these days. I just roll my eyes when someone says they think hunting is cruel while chowing down on a burger or steak. I was fortunate to grow up in a family with farmers. I've butchered chickens, pigs and cows. I've hunted and fished and processed the game meat. My brother has alredy told me that he'll be kicking his son over to me when he's old enough to learn where food comes from. I look forward to the day my nephew is old enough to kill and clean his first trout or grouse.

See? Another reason not to eat mushrooms. They grow in literal shit. :D

Tomatoes are gross too. Only good for sauces and ketchup. ;)

Be glad its something you can pick off. For me it's no mayo, no amount of scraping can get it out of the bun.

On the topic of vegan bullshit, my sister and her husband are "freegans". They act like vegans until I offer to pay, then they'll eat anything. I never knew that was a real thing until they recently came back to California.

Take off the top bun, hold it out the window, put the truck in beast mode and floor it. You'll thank me. Welcome to the alcoholic big leagues my friend, where we think hard to be lazy.

I have a CDL and a lower BAC (even when off work) than the common man.
My pre-leaving the house drinks may be an issue as I drive from MickeyDs to the bar to meet with my peeps.
I don't see myself hanging buns out the window, getting freeze dried onions all over the side of my Tundra, and not getting pulled over.

    40 years ago, maybe.
But now at 58 and working for the same employer for 35 years, I don't think so..
