A toll road that I sit for an hour plus in traffic, yet I'm still charged my toll for their services! Now I just paid the state to sit in your cesspool! Thanks NJ! It a daily occurrence.

At a certain point, they know full well traffic has been unusually backed up, exonerate the toll! But heck no, that would be helping the people!

NO RUSH to clear the roadway whatsoever, they're still getting paid!

 

Here's one:

Supervisors/higher headquarters that get excused for behavior/practices that'd get our asses canned.

In the middle of an inspection today in a space where cellphones are *EXPLICITLY NOT ALLOWED*...and our inspector's phone goes off.

As he catches a small amount of hell, he runs out of the space to remove it...leaving his computer unlocked, wide open, etc. - which is just as bad as the cell phone deal.

Did he get in trouble? Nope...but for us? It'd be one hell of a writeup/investigation.

 

A lot of stuff makes me angry.
But I just took my meds and now I can't remember what any of it is.

Wife broke her knee, elbow and fractured L1 3 weeks ago. Surgery was Tuesday a week ago. This does not anger me, this is the worse part of the better we've had for 30 years.
What angers me is friends coming to see her, saying they will be here at 5PM, it being 6:30 and they are still not here. Have some consideration for those who are in PAIN and show up on time or stay away. Phone calls are just as good therapy for her.

So sorry that your better half was injured! I hope she recovers soon and visitors having a better appreciation for the issues of other folks.

 

Since I'm dealing with a similar situation I can understand your frustration. It's as if a person with that serious of and injury suffers a type of PTSD. Family and friends need to understand that. Adding bumps and dips to an emotional roller coaster isn't helpful. Let's hope your wife heals quickly and gets back to normal soon.

 

We Brits have a special term for muppets on buses, we call 'em bus wankers.

 

Oh it absolutely does. She's been doing the blame game, guilt game and worse. She has the mood swings and real hard time sleeping, she can't tolerate most pain meds so she's just on Tylenol.
It's just her and I so I'm primary care giver but she has a close circle of friends who will show up with great timing to assist not only her but me. It's the peripheral friends who are a PITA. God forbid somene bring another covered dish I have to keep up with, you bring the dish, you come get it back!

 

I feel for you Brother. On top of all this you're probably worrying that something doesn't happen to you preventing you from properly caring for her. My Wife found a tiny reddish brown fuzzy from a blacket on the white bedsheets and got into her mind it was a bedbug. Her taking a picture and Google lens saying it was a bedbug really put her close to the edge. Finally after smashing it between layers of toilet paper and showing her there was no bug juice brought her back. Yes, the guilty feelings. She's very independent and for me to take care of her really has been an adjustment. The support from all the other campers has made my life so much easier.

 

So true. She was the primary care giver to her mother and special needs brother till we lost them both within 6 months of each other 2 years ago. The role change is very hard on her. She's got to have that rest to get healed. I've cleared her schedule for the rest of the weekend, I'm sure someone will drop in on Sunday but her entertaining visitors don't help none.

 

People and companies that strong arm the elderly! Also those who way over charge the elderly for services and take advantage of them!! These and all POS scum bags like this should be hung by their &$!?)(;$&);:/)$& in public!!

 

Why does every Volvo driver do 10 under the speed limit?

 

Because their car is in need of repair, but since Volvo parts start at like $500 for a fuse, they can't afford to have it fixed.

 

And here I thought it was because the only people who drive Volvo are scared of driving and buy them for the safety features.
