Yup. I was asked for my social for electric and for propane when I moved to northern CA. I found it odd but realize why they asked for it.

There are 4 hockey games on right now, I have the sports package included in my cable package and the only game I get (on 4 different channels) is the one with two teams I hate playing.

    We saw the post. :D

Seriously though, I work all over an Army post doing different kinds of IT work, and I'll gladly look like a dumbass/gradeschooler for ease of use. It makes carrying my laptop/cables/tools a TON easier.

There's and old adage that fits here. "All things are relative, and all relatives are things, and if you aren't careful all your relatives will take all of your things."

Are you saying you can't create a thread containing information or to ask a question of members??? That doesn't make any sense :notsure:

Every day I see new threads and posts created and contributed by folks that just signed up same day; or are you mad that you can't sell something until you have at least 50 posts?? If you don't understand the basis behind this concept (other than it's simply a rule), then I'm sure you'll find many things in life to be unfairly frustrating...

People that ask for help/advice on something and then argue with the response…:smash:

…we all know not every response is going to be accurate or even contain relevant information. However, just take the information for what it is and wait until you've complied enough data to confirm or dispel your question(s)/concern(s) or until someone gives you a credible response w/a strong basis for support!!!!

I think I've mentioned this before...

When a meeting goes a hour over the set time because some enginerd just has to repeat the same thing that was talked about by the group for the last hour because he needs to make sure people hear his voice and "contribution".

I live close to the Ohio line in NW Pa.. Nothing pisses me off more than when you go to Ohio and you have some nit wit that drives in the passing lane and doesn't move out of it. In Ohio it's ok to travel in the passing lane. So you can drive from Cleveland to Cincinnati at 45 mph in the left lane.Chaps my a$$.

You clearly don't work on a government capital project. The enginerds start at the lowest level of manglement and earn promotions through ass kissery.

Sounds like a boomer, Lol. The guy I work with always repeats everything multiple times and when a few of the boomers are together they talk about the same thing multiple times. I just laugh to myself.

The foreign project engineers at work are the worst for this. Send out a pre-read and then literally read word for word off the slides that you sent out until your boss tells you to shut up and see if there are any questions.

Also the ones who ask a question and don't even pause in whatever they're saying or can't wait for others to finish speaking.

I don't even think it's a matter of trying to impress people as they're all contractors or older employees who know their careers are at a dead end.
