OK, same message without the suck it. My laptop and peripherals weigh enough, and are bulky enough, that they won't fit in a briefcase. You got a better idea for carrying that stuff? Hanging a backpack off my shoulder is the only viable option. If you can come up with a better idea for carrying bulky, heavy electronics that also need protection, start marketing it. If it is better than a backpack, it'll sell. If not, you'll still see a ton of backpacks. It will also help if you expand your horizons of experience outside your own small world.

Some guys just aren't comfortable enough with their manhood and maintain the HS sophomore idea that backpacks are for kids. I have a couple backpacks that I use. I keep my gold pan and some metal detecting gear in my old assault pack, and I transport/carry my CZ Scorpion SBR in a backpack.

Right? Or places that don't fill the hot case on weekends. Like "Fuck you guys working the weekends so the rest of us don't have to" kind of thing.

When you find out, halfway through a project (no matter how large or small), that the last guy who borrowed one of your tools fucked it up and didn't tell you when he returned it.

I don't mind helping a friend out, but dammit... if you break my shit replace it. Don't bring back my broken shit at all, bring a new one and tell me what happened. I won't be mad.

    "What makes me mad?"

The Sumbitch on youtube who told my wife that a heat gun was too dangerous to use to strip paint (Might scorch the wood) and "non toxic" chemicals are far more easier.

I've had a nice Wagner heat gun for a while, thing will go up to 1300 degrees. Takes paint off down to the wood. She started on one window (in the bed room no less) and I could smell it all over the house. that's when the fight started.

I went and got the heat gun and had 3/4 of the other window stripped while she's still overthere cleaning up that goop all over the place and washing out the buckets of that "non toxic" waste. The kicker? "I just need to do another coat...."

And I named my poison, I have to do the baseboards and other window tomorrow.

Indecisive people irritate the hell out of me.

You ask a basic question and they respond as if you're trying to trick them.

    Example..
Me: Do you want anything from the store??

Indecisive moron: Some chips will be okay, I guess.

Me: What kind of chips???

Indecisive moron: idk just whatever lol it doesn't really matter I guess. It's just sort of whatever you think I guess.

    Me: :mad::mad::mad:

THEN you show up with a standard, ordinary, everday bag of chips, and they say "oh yeah, I really don't like those lol derrrrr."

Damn. I’ll have to show this post to IT since all the newly leased laptops only come with backpacks. I haven’t worn one since college.

Now it’s stuffed with manuals, O-scope probes, wire strippers, cutters, jumper wire, led flashlight, blank CDs and an analog multimeter in addition to my laptop and power brick so I can visit closed areas that are missing everything in my bag to debug military electronic shit.

I also have a soft leather bag to sneak in engineering CCA hardware in case the union sees it and complains.

I feel like I’m backpacking for the day when I’m visiting the factory.

I wear a backpack when traveling for work. I just throw my laptop, charging accessories, mouse etc in it for the plane. Usually throw snacks in there from the airport to keep at hotel room

Buddy told me about it as well. Apparently there was a previous channel some thing like "sarah-n-dipity" or something that was the transition story before the car stuff.

Todays thing that makes me angry (again) “Family” or should I say people to whom I share a close relationship via blood but am fine never speaking with again.

So was back at the farm a couple weekends ago - my sister lived there rent free for a couple of years following her divorce - told her I was fine with her staying there and not paying me anything - as long as she maintained it and respected my space in the garage she had access to (I stored some things there).

So she moved out recently and told me she cleaned up and had all her stuff out. Day after she left - I had locks changed…of course immediately when she finds out locks were changed - she “forgot” a few things and wanted keys. I said no - tell me what you left and I’ll drop it off for you / never heard back. That should have been my first clue something was amiss.

So I walk in - place is an absolute mess. She had dogs and dog shit on the floor - 50# bag of dog food sitting in kitchen floor still and the place is basically filled with old furniture. Weird thing is she left all the TVs and quite a bit of useable stuff too - camping gear/coolers/decor/even a jar full of change. So I’m like fine - I got to hire someone to clean the place out - and of course she will never pay a nickel - but the yard sale of her junk I’m about to have should more than cover those cost.

So then I go to start the side by side / she asked a few times if she could use it - and I said yes. Won’t start of course - put the charger on it and I’m shocked at how many damn miles/hours she has racked up. I’m thinking the few times she asked to use it - should have maybe a few hours and under 100 miles. Nope - over 650 hours on it and several thousand miles. Better yet - steering is jacked up - clearly has wrecked it and said nothing - I’m pissed but at least I’m insured.

Last straw though comes 30 minutes later when I’m setting up cameras in the house. Since I’m not there regularly in winter and knowing she might try to come back after being told stay away (and in case of any other uninvited visitors) - got a few cheap cameras on Amazon to set up. Go into a bedroom she used and there’s a really nice dresser setting there she left. So I’m like - wow, this is nice - probably can get something for this and open up a drawer - low and behold there are 3 knives that had been stolen 3 years ago !! Dumbass either realized these were too unique to just take to the local pawn shop or to olace online - or just kept them to herself / but clearly forgot to grab them in her rush to vacate the place or simply forgot she took them from me. I absolutely hate thieves - and guaranteed if confronted she will try to blame someone else.

It’s weird - I’m mad as the worthless POS left me a mess and proved for the last time she cannot be trusted - but guess I should look at bright side - the mess is going to be much less to clean up than what I bring in selling all the crap she left (some really nice camping stuff and hunting gear), the SxS is insured - snd they will likely total it out - I have full replacement cost so get an upgrade for the cost of a $100 deductible and I recovered 3 unique Randall’s I’d written off years ago. Still - there are things worth much more than $$ - every gain I made can be easily measured in dollars / the last shred of a connection to my closest relative though - that’s a tough one. Some people though just need to be avoided at all cost.

My sister used my Social Security number several years ago to open a cell phone account. She didn't abuse it. She paid her own bills. But I haven't trusted her since then and we have a cordial relationship at best.

This is a tangent but why would a cell phone company need your SSN?

Credit check. Super common. They won't do a phone on a payment plan if you have bad credit or refuse.
