    Gophers.

Last week my dogs were patrolling the yard and decided to dig a hole behind a bush. I was pissed, but thought they probably hear a gopher. Just confirmed it when I noticed one of my cool looking tea leaf plants laying on the ground. I replanted it, fingers crossed. I'll set the trap in that tunnel.

Yup, and the year before. The year before was the epic 4 month battle against one fat bastard. I think these may be his offspring. He lost the battle but not the war.

Trap is set. It got a little breezy so hopefully that calls his attention. Now I wait... and drink beer... and wait.

I killed a gopher on Tuesday night. Reset the trap even though they generally don't share tunnels. Wednesday morning I saw fluffy dirt blocking the path to the trap. I removed the dirt to open the tunnel and set the trap again. Just now I checked it, tunnel filled again, 6" of dirt this time.

My big fear is if there was more than one gopher jn the same tunnel, one is probably a female. Being Spring time there may even be some little bastard babies in there. Trap has been set again, fingers crossed.

Apparently no one selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace owns a tape measure? Any time my wife buys something that may not fit in the car, I ask for measurements, get told it definitely won't fit in a car, fire up the truck and drive over only to find it would probably fit in a Smart Car, let alone in our Corolla.

Try getting measurements for a camper shell off a Craigslist guy, and when you do you drive over there only to find out the idiot has a nice tape, but can't read the damn thing

Walking in to site before 5:20 and having to push through the giant crowd of dog fuckers-I mean contractors - just inside the gate who are waiting until after 5:30 to badge out so they can get paid for an extra half hour of "work".

Buying a mini split DIY system, having a professional install it and it don't work and the manufacturer refuses responsibility. Thankfully I bought it from Costco but i'm back to square one.

Easy for me to spend your money but you need to stick with real name brand, even if the $1000 system works today next year when the board goes out you can't find the parts.

I get mad when the tundras.com moderators keep deleting my post every time I get 50 and try to sell something. I didn’t know Mark Zuckerberg was in control here and decided what a real comment was.
